Hyunjin was back at Felix's dorm. There was a show playing, but he was hardly paying attention. After all, there was an extremely adorable boy in his arms which prevented him from having any coherent thoughts.
Felix's head was on Hyunjin's chest, his eyes lazily focused on the laptop as he listened closely to his boyfriend's heartbeat.
Boyfriend. The word still felt so new. They had been officially dating for only a month (Well, one month and three days) but the closeness and security they felt with each other made it feel like they had never been apart.
Hyunjin planted a kiss on Felix's cheek, earning him a smile. Felix, broken from his momentary trance, decided to check the time.
Suddenly, Felix bolted up in a panic.
"What's wrong, angel?" Hyunjin asked, the worry evident in his voice.
"It's almost 9!" He scrambled to get out of bed and started pulling Hyunjin up. "You have to go before Minho gets home!"
Hyunjin frowned. "Why do I have to?"
"Because," Felix started. "It's just not time for you two to meet"
"We've already met," Hyunjin replied, crossing his arms in defiance. Sure, his first meeting with Minho wasn't great, but he didn't see why that should prevent them from seeing each other now. Besides that, they weren't kids anymore. Felix shouldn't have to hide his relationship.
"That doesn't count, we're pretending like that never happened," Felix responded, putting his hands on either side of Hyunjin's face. "You'll officially meet him soon, I promise"
Hyunjin pouted. "If you say so,"
"Knock knock" They heard a voice from the doorway say. Felix jumped back, his eyes going wide. He could recognize that voice anywhere.
"Minho!" He exclaimed, an edge of anger in his voice. "Why didn't you knock?"
"You're the one who left the door open" He responded, now slightly glaring at Hyunjin. "Why? Are you trying to hide something from me?"
Felix shifted his weight from foot to foot, feeling like a child about to get scolded. He really wanted Minho to like Hyunjin, that was the most important thing to him. They really needed to stop meeting each other like this. It wasn't that Minho wouldn't let him date Hyunjin, that wasn't the problem. It was getting Minho's approval, which was next to impossible.
Hyunjin, clearing his throat, slowly got up from Felix's bed. "Hi Minho"
"Wow, he even took the time to learn my name," Minho replied, a little surprised. "How considerate"
Hyunjin could tell his tone was dripping with sarcasm, but didn't let that deter his smile. "Of course, Felix talks about you all the time"
That certainly was one way to get on Minho's good side, but Hyunjin's charms wouldn't be working today.
"Mhm" He said, stepping to the side of the door, signaling it was time for Hyunjin to leave. Felix gave Hyunjin an apologetic smile as he exited.
Minho shut the door and waited for Felix to give an explanation.
"I don't know why you don't like him, '' Felix mumbled, flopping back onto his bed, missing Hyunjin's warmth.
"I don't dislike him," Minho answered. "I just... worry"
"Worry? about what?"
"About you, obviously!" Minho pushes Felix over to make room for himself on the bed. "You trust people too easily"
