This is where MK fell into the well of her family shrine and was transported into the Sengoku period, that was initiated by the Ōnin War in 1467 which collapsed the feudal system of Japan under the Ashikaga shogunate.
After getting fully transported, not only will she have a journey of a lifetime, but had to deal with love troubles of one of her allies as well.
(Also, do watch Inuyasha and Yashahime, I'm a big fan of this)
