In this AU, this is where MK is a giant mermaid-like mermaid/siren and is called 'Queen of the Abyss' in her story.
She guards the ocean abyss and those who stole her treasure or precious belongings will face the wrath of the queen herself. She is very powerful in her own ways, even powerful than the dragons or the celestial gods themselves, to a lot of people who didn't knew her real power, thinks she had the same strength or power like Buddha, but that is unconfirmed.
She also met the JTTW crew too, there she befriended them when Wukong went to go look for her when he saw something in the water while Tripitaka, Ao Lie, Zhu Baijie and Sha Wujing had to find him the moment they heard the story of 'Queen of the Abyss'.
After their journey ended, they went to visit MK as she had also told them that she'll into deep slumber for who knows how long until she wakes up, they were sad but understood her point and finally she was now in deep slumber and woke up again before Demon Bull King was freed from the mountain Monkey King trapped him.
After she woke up from her long years of slumber, she decided to have a change of life in the land world as she transformed into a human and in her normal size instead of her humongous size to not scare everyone, and thus she started her new life in Megapolis City.
She also met Pigsy, Tang, Mei and Sandy plus Mo and became good friends with them, but didn't get a job there since she still has a job in the Abyss. But she would always helps out with the orders and simple tasks in the shop and would always be in the noodle shop with her friends.
That's when the Demon Bull King was freed.
Info for this AU:
MK is very powerful in this AU, like OP powerful, but not powerful enough like Buddha, but even very powerful than the gods themselves, maybe even powerful than Sun Wukong or Lady Bone Demon.
She mostly had a calm expression on her face and show no other emotional expressions like fear, but is still learning more about her emotions. She and Mei are best of friends even though MK had a calm energy while Mei had a hyper energy.
Like mermaid and sirens, she can sing beautifully with her own voice, but isn't like a siren that uses their voice and lure their prey, no no no.
Shocking thing is...Lady Bone Demon feared her in this AU, it probably something she did in the past that made Lady Bone Demon afraid of her, even in the present.
She somehow managed to inherited Monkey King's powers in someway, but she let that slide for now as she gets trained by her old friend.
Powers:
Size - She can shrink and grow her size however she can but her small height can go like a human height and her big height can grow bigger than a castle itself.
Transformation - She can transform into a human and her true form however she likes, she can also transform another person, item, animal and much more
Teleportation - She can teleport anywhere and everywhere as she leaves a swirls of water behind until she was fully teleported, she can also use this ability to teleport people as well
"Heed the Abyss's Call" - A power which she can summon a tsunami wave either once or more using her trident
