Y/n pov :

We came back home and got changed and Chim was all ready to head to bed but I interrupted his actions.

" Minie aren't you forgetting something?" I asked.

He batted his eyes lashes cutely and said " But I took a bath. "

I laughed at his words and held his hand before making my way towards grandpa's room.

I knocked on the door of grandpa's room.

" What are you doing? Are we sleeping with grandpa today? " asked Chim.

" Aani, baby. " I said while smacking
my forehead at his naive self.

" Jimin? " asked grandpa while opening the door.

" Oh, Y/n? Do you need something kid? " questioned grandpa.

I nodded my head as a yes and replied
" Your time! " Grandpa laughed and said
" It's all yours. "

With that, I took both of them to
the dining room and made them sit.

I went towards the kitchen and took out the cake I kept in the freezer.

Yes, you got it right, I promised my mochi so how can I not fulfil it?

Chim's eyes lit up as soon as he saw
the cake.

" Yayy!! Cake! " chirped Minie.

" Oh? " said grandpa

" What am I missing this time? "
He asked.

" Dumpling promised to bake a cake for me but I forgot. " answered Chim while scratching his head embarrassingly.

But all of his embarrassment flew away instantly and all of his attention went towards the cake.

" Y/n, why would you trouble yourself, you could have ordered it, hm? "said grandpa.

" No, no grandpa I made it for all of us because I wanted to. I made it when Minie was asleep and decided that we can eat it together with you when you come back but then we went out for dinner. " I said in one breath.

Grandpa laughed and said " It's okay,
I just want to make sure that you are not pushing yourself to do things you don't want to because of Jimin. Thank you for your efforts, let us eat now! I am excited to taste something you made. "

I served cake for the three of us and waited for both of them to taste it.

As soon as Chim ate a bite " Yum " was the first word that escaped his mouth making me happy. I then anticipated Grandpa's reaction.

" Oh! You are good at baking cakes I see then you are the one who will make cakes for us from now on. " Complimented grandpa.

This made my heart giddy and I said
a quick thank you with a wide smile.

Time skip ~

Chim is already asleep and I and grandpa are here on the rooftop.

Mr. Park's pov :

" Y/n, are you okay? I mean is Jimin
troubling you way too much? Are you
able to adjust to him, I know he can be
way too much sometimes. " *sigh*

Before she could answer I continued
" I hope I haven't dragged you away from your dreams and I want you to know that you are independent to do anything you want and you can free yourself from us whenever you want. I don't want you to ruin your future and stay with us- "
my words were interrupted in between by her.
