Sebastian...

      Today we was heading over to my moms to celebrate me being back in town .. i went in the room to check on Nia "Aye baby , you still wanna go ?" i asked .. Nia and my family really didn't get along because they felt like she took me away from them but really i made the decision to move .

"Yeah , if we gonna be together forever bae i have to find a way to get on your family's good side." she
says walking up to me and pecking my lips

"Who all gone be there ?." she said yelling in the kitchen "Cece my moms my step dad Karen and most likely one of her sisters." i could hear Nia letting out a sigh from the kitchen .

Karen wasn't Nia's cup of tea .. she just wasn't her person she don't have beef with her but she just doesn't like her atleast that's what she told me, I couldn't understand why though Karen never did anything to her .

I threw on some Amiri Jeans and a Easy E graphic tee , i put on some Jordan 4s and sprayed some cologne "Nia hurry baby you know how my mama is about being late to Dinner."

"I'm coming bae ." she said putting on her shoes , "ight let's roll." i said locking the door behind me .

We head to the car and i opened the door for her , She put her airpods in and we drove without saying a word.. it was a little bit weird between us because she's been distant .. i'm trying my best to be there but a nigga can only do so much .

We finally made it to my mama crib . i locked the car and we walked up the mini stairs and headed in "Is that my baby Sebastian !." my mama yelled rushing to hug me "Hey mama." my Step dad walked up on me slowly "This nigga done got taller god damn it ! Hey son !" he chuckled

I look over to see Karen, Cece and Karen's sister Dorinda in the Kitchen cooking .. Karen had this nice blouse on with some leather pants with bouncy blonde curls .. she looked good

"Oh hello Nia" my mom said noticing Nia was behind me "Hello everyone !." she replied , she sat on the couch and instantly got on her phone .. i walk into the kitchen to be nosey "What y'all cooking ! it's smelling good." i say looking over Karen's shoulder "Stop being nosey boy !" Dorinda said hitting my back

"Hey sebastian." Karen spoke in a soft tone "Wassup Karen." i replied , i look back to see Nia rolling her eyes .. Nia walked in the kitchen and gave me a kiss "I'll be upstairs baby ."

Cece Karen and Dorinda all roll they eyes "I don't understand why you with that Heffa she ain't all of that ." momma said entering the Kitchen "Let him be baby !" my step dad said sitting in the chair watching tv

They all continue to cook and i go up to my old room "Damn .. still look the same." i see Karen walking to the upstairs bathroom "Yo Karen" i say before she went in the bathroom .

"Yes ?" she said "Still wanna see my hotel room ?" i said with a smirk , she chuckled "Of course.. after dinner... is your girlfriend gonna come?." i could tell by her body language she didn't want her to come

"Na ma she'll be at work ." i say she walked away with a smirk .

i quickly run down the stairs after i hear my mama yelling the food is ready , everybody gathered around the table and held hands .. it felt like old times .

My mom said a prayer and we all begin to eat , i look over at Nia and she was still on her phone "Bae you good ? you been on your phone all day yo." i whisper

"Mhmh" she replied back not even paying attention to me "Ight man" i said .

"It's good to have you back son ." My step dad spoke breaking the silence "I'm glad to be back in my hometown being in Atlanta feels weird lowkey ." i replied , Nia looked over at me and rolled her eyes
