Everything at the restaurant was great, I got presents for the first time ever. Momma usually never had the money to get us stuff. Duke got me camera to record YouTube videos on because he remembered when I said I wanted to start my own channel. Paris got us matching necklaces to wear, I put it right on as soon as I got it.
Sitting in the passenger seat waiting for Duke because apparently he got a hotel for us to stay in tonight somewhere in down town Atlanta. Seeing him hop in the car in turn the engine on.
"You ready to go ?" He ask me
"Yea of course" I say smiling
"How you enjoy your birthday dinner" he says while driving off from the restaurant
"It was great, thank you so much Duke" I say
"Of course you know I didn't forget" he says replying to me
"I thought you did" I said
"I know you had a little attitude earlier" he says
"Whateverrr" I say rolling my eyes
"It's okay, imma fix it later" he says looking at me with one hand on the steering wheel and his other hand slowly reaching over to grab my thigh
"What you mean by that ?" I ask him knowing damn well I knew what that meant
"You'll see" he says smirking
I don't say anything back I just sit and look out the window. At the tall building we pass by downtown it's beautiful I never really been down here before I always stayed on the same street knew the same little corner stores. This was different we passed by this big apartment complex it's was so beautiful I told myself I was gonna make it out of that neighborhood we lived in. Imma do just that and get me a nice apartment downtown Atlanta with a nice car.

"Just wait here imma get the room key and stuff" Duke says leaving me standing in the lobby of the hotel. Looking around this hotel looks fancy like 4-star what they be saying on the little commercial I've never seen nothing like this. Seeing Duke walk back with a card in his hand.
"You can follow me" he says coming back and then heading towards the elevator and pushing the button. Entering the elevator it took us forever to get to the room because we went up atleast 30 floors. Following Duke we stop at a door Im guessing it's our room. He pulls out the card and swipes it and it instantly flashes a green. He turns back and looks at me.
"Close you eyes" he says
"Lordy" I say, then covering my eyes with one hand he grabs the other one and walks me in.
"Okay you can look now" he says laughing
Seeing a dim lit room and roses covered all on the ground, It was so beautiful.
