They both say "ok" in unison as they head up the stairs to get ready

"I love when you act like a mother" Duke says to me coming closer to me bring me in so there's no space in between us

"Oh my gosh this graduation is so damn long" I say whispering as I rest my head on dukes shoulder
"I swear it's about 1,000 kids graduating ain't it" he says
"Honestly all these names in the pamphlet it just might be" I say whispering
"Wait bae I think I see them finna walk" Duke says to me making me instantly stand up so I can see my little brother and sister in line
"Devon Raven" the announcer calls as Devon walks the stage waving

They continue to go back and forth but just as I say this I get a phone call from Paris
Incoming call from "Paris <3"
"Hey gir- as I pick up the call all I hear is her crying hysterically

At this point Duke can see me stressed out
