Switch POV

I cleared out a corner for myself as quickly as possible, but the gun ran out of ammo so quickly. I couldn't even see when it was getting low, and that cost me my first life. I saw you prowling on the catwalk taking out opponents left and right. You moved smoothly despite the hindering darkness, chasing after one person, then the next like the predator you claimed to be. I couldn't get a clear shot at you from the bottom, but I didn't know the layout of the top. It made me nervous to have to come to you, but it looked like the only option. A red came at me and I unload three shots to their chest before they got off a single shot. I still had no clue how this worked or how many shots I had left. I lost sight of you... dammit. I knew if I shot you, you couldn't get me till your gun reloaded. I supposed I'd only need one shot for now. I looked out before taking off for the ramp, where two reds stood guarding my route. It didn't take long for me to shoot each and run past. It also didn't stop them from screaming for help. I dove through one of the holes I saw, and to my surprise another blue was held up there as well with only one life left. I bumped against the wall and cursed as I tried to gauge what ammo I had left, but I wasn't paying attention when a red slipped around the corner and fired two shots. One at me, and one at the other blue.

"What a predicament you've gotten yourself into," you chuckled. You placed the gun right against the sensor and backed me into the wall, entirely too pleased with yourself. I frowned, a little out of fear, mostly of shame because I wasn't paying attention. Just keep him busy till you leave gun reloads.

"Aren't you going to finish me?"

"And ruin the fun," you gasped then laid your free hand over my shoulder. "I'd rather do something else." You came close enough for our noses to touch. Even in the dark, I could see that stupid glint of yours. The one that meant trouble; albeit the fun kind usually. "You lasted pretty long princess, I think it's time for you to surrender though."

"To you?" You smirked and laid a gentle kiss on my cheek.

"I will only accept your unconditional surrender." Another kiss on my other cheek. "Do you accept?" You leaned in again for a final kiss. I gave it to you but unloaded three rounds into your chest. When you least expected it I suppose. You pulled back shocked, holding your hand over your heart like a bullet went through your chest. Sirens started whirring. The lights flicked on. I guess we were the last on the course.

"I guess... I won." I smirked and bit my lip knowing you were torn between being furious and exuberantly proud of my ruthlessness. I ducked out the hole I came through with you hot on my tail. I had no idea what you planned to do but I knew I could escape for the moment if I just got off the course.
