I walked out, finally safe in the light, or so I thought. I got the first clip undone, but as I went for the second, your warm soft hands found mine and intertwined them.

"What are you doing," I whispered as you wrapped your free hand around my waist. You swayed like we were dancing and suddenly it seemed that every eye in the room was on us. I tried to bury my face in your chest, but the disapproving stares burned through me.

"I'm showing my love for you because you're so cute." You weren't quiet about it either, now anyone who wasn't staring was. Something about you helped me calm down a little. I never knew what it was, but you helped me. Not enough to make me ok with slowly swaying with you in the lobby of laser tag though. The more I wiggled the tighter your grip got.

"All these people are staring at us. Let me go." I tried to hiss at you, but you chuckled and continued for a few minutes before finally letting go and helping me with the vest. I couldn't get rid of the crawling feeling of eyes even as we left the arcade, and it wasn't until the back door of the car slammed shut and you were staring at me with intent, that I realized something else was going on.

"Welcome back, princess. What's wrong?"

"I can't get rid of the feeling of being watched. This is your fault."

"Then allow me to fix it."
