Fun Times Interrupted By The Light Switch

After what like 30 years, the kids finally arrive through the slide. Sun immediately went to go greet them. All of them looked to be 3-7 years old.

Sun picked up some kids while the others latch on to him like leeches. It was a funny sight to see and I couldn't help but laugh.

One of the kids heard me and looked at me sitting behind the security desk.

'She looks awfully familiar...'

"Hi miss!"

She screamed running to me. Now I remember her!

"Hi Lola! I didn't know you would be here."

"Neither did I."

She said smiling.

"Lola, you already met our new friend?"

"Yes! I bumped in to her!"

Sun couldn't help but laugh at the kid's cuteness.

"Oh right! I almost forgot!"

Sun gathered up all the children and they sat down. Then he grabbed my hand and took me in front of them.

"Everyone, I'd like for you meet our new friend, Y/n!"

All the kids said hi to me while I just stood there awkwardly. I said hi back and said some things about myself. All the kids seemed so interested in a boring adult like me. It was nice.

Sun pov

The kids seem to like her already! She's also a natural at talking to them! This is already starting out great!

I can't wait for her to meet-

Y/n pov

Sun suggested we all play a game of hide and seek. All the kids seemed to love the idea, and so did I.

When Sun started to count everyone ran like the wind.

Lola and two other kids stuck with me. I guess they wanted to hide with me.

I quickly ran to the ball pit and hid at the bottom. Lola and another kid (who I think is 4) copied my actions. But by the time the third kid was about to come to ball pit, Sun stopped counting.

I was in the ball pit so I didn't see anything, but all I heard a was a scream then laughing afterwards. I'm guessing that kid was the 4 year olds friend, because he jumped out of the ball pit and was immediately tackled by Sun and the other kid.

Toddlers are stupid.

30 minutes had passed and Sun found everyone. Even Lola, after she accidentally gave away her spot and almost mine.

I was still in the ball pit, getting more bored by the minute. My ears basically drowned out all sounds and it was getting a bit harder to breathe.

Suddenly I feel metal arms pull me out of the ball pit and hug me.

"Found you!"

"Aw man, I was so close"

"Cheer up Sunshine! Maybe next time!"

SUNSHINE?!

I lightly blushed at the nickname. It was a cute nickname actually. I never really got nicknames like that.

"Alright everyone! It's time for some arts n crafts!"

All the kids cheered. I'm guessing it was there favorite thing to do.
