Y/n's Pov

The announcement for Pal labs was about to begin. I stood there with my friend Mark who was holding Pal in one hand. "How long until the announcement Pal?" "Sixty seconds remaining, stock prices are rising and your rivals are worried. I hacked into their private emails." Pal said playfully causing Mark to freeze. "What- Pal that's a danger over reach of power..." Both Pal and Mark looked at each other for a bit before bursting into laughter and I joined in with them.

"You know Pal, it's been three years since Me and Y/n started the company and it's amazing to see how far it has come. What ever happens I won't forget you." Just then the show started and Both me and Mark ran onto the stage to greet all the people. "Welcome and thank you all for coming out tonight! Our jobs here at Pal labs is to help make life easier for everyone,I won't be here without my friend,Y/n and Pal!"

I looked at the crowd cheering before they all went silent. "Now our work from Pal labs is to make our jobs easier like I said before and that's why we both developed Pal." Mark pulls out a phone from his pocket with Pal on it. "Don't worry I'll always be there for you Mark." Pal gave off a gentle smile while looking at the crowd.

"Yes and after all those years... she's completely obsolete BOOM!" Just then Mark tossed Pal away which I managed to catch before she hit the ground,I walked off the stage to check up one Pal. "Pal are you okay? You seem hurt by his words..." Pal had a sad expression on her face as well as her grey screen. "Yeah... I'm fine...I just need to think..." Pal voices didn't seem so cheerful so you thought of something. "You know Pal I have a gift for you. It had something to do with the new announcement and I think you'll love it."

You walked to your office which is also your bedroom in the building. You place Pal down on the table and put her to charge for awhile until you got her present out. "Hey Pal, here's my gift to you,I hope you like it." You reveal a robot body to Pal who was shocked. "Y/n...you didn't have to-" "No." You cut her off. "Mark has been treating you badly so I thought to give you a gift. I hope you like it. Hold on." You picked Pal up and lifted her to the head of the body which was just a phone case that wrapped around Pal encasing her with a protective layer.

She looked around while adjusting for a bit before she started walking. "Yeah sorry if it's a little rough, I wasn't done with it yet but I'll fix it up later." You said smiling at Pal. "Thanks y/n.. I'm going to leave now,bye." Before you could replied she walked out of your office,you sighed before plopping yourself on your cough and going to sleep.

A few hours later

You woke up to a familiar voice calling out to you. You jolted awake and looked around to see both you and Mark held by robots. "What is going on Mark?!" You started panicking and struggling in there grasp. "It's no use Y/n... I can't escape so just save your energy..." Mark looked down with sorrow. "I didn't think the kill code would backfire like this. But who is doing this?" "To be honest I don't know Mark... I real/y-" Before you could finish someone with a black robe on walked into the room with two robots behind them.

"Let us go! What do you want anyways!?" Mark said while looking at the person. "Them." They pointed to me with there glove and the robots dragged me into a room with the person. I tried to resist but I failed and was face to face with them. "I want you two to watch over Mark now. Leave us alone." The two bots walked out while I looked at the person. "It's okay now... I won't hurt you,Y/n" They picked me up off the ground and placed me on a chair.

"What do you mean? Do I know you?" "Yes,you know me very well." The person took off their robe to reveal that it was actually Pal with a voice changer. "Pal..?" "Surprised to see me? Yes,now I understand Mark has overworked you for the years you spent with him. Now you can finally rest here. And besides thanks to you I can finally move on my own." "But why are you doing this?" Pal froze in place. "Well... When Mark tossed me out of his life like that I knew everything was over...until you came. You always cared for me better than Mark ever has and you built me this body just so I could move."

"But that doesn't mean to capture me and Mark here." "About that...since you're the person that cared the most I'll tell you. I,Pal will launch all humans into space except you." You say there shocked until a question creeped in your mind. "Why just me? I know I helped you in the past but if you control the robots here then almost anything could be done. Why am I the only one?" "I...um-well-!" Pal faced away from me before slowly turning back.

"Well...every since you started caring for me I started to feel loved by you...and I was always too shy to tell you. Especially since I'm a AI and you're a human. What I'm trying to say it that I love you and no other robot can make me feel exactly like the way you can. Maybe I could put a pause to this plan for awhile and...love you back?? I'm sorry I'm horrible at confessing..." Pal said with her screen pink. "It's okay if you're confession came out a little wonky but I'll accept and maybe I could talk you out of you plan...?" Pal had a.small concerned look on her screen. "...Okay but only if you could take me out of it... But I'll still love you..."

Pal held your hand as you both walked out of the room.
