Cube's Pov

As a scientist for the foundation it means to protect everyone at all cost...even if it you have to run experiments on a kid shape. As I observed what happened with the corruption on her the alarms started going off. "What's happening?!" I yelled to my colleague. "There's someshape who broke in! Secure Subject-05, Don't let anything near her!" I slammed my hand on the button and activated the security in the foundation.

I looked on the cameras and saw a hooded figure run through the hallways while I saw the rest of the colleagues run down with there weapons. "Get out now or we'll shoot you down. This is your only warning." The figure shook their head before running full force with black snakes following them. They didn't stand a chance to any of them and were corrupted.They looked directly at the camera before signing me "Bring me Subject-05". I ran to Subject-05 and picked her up. "LET GO OF ME!! I DON'T WANT TO BE HERE ANY LONGER!!" Subject-05 squirmed around in my arms trying to free themselves.

"Stop it now,I'm trying to save the pure! Don't you want that?!" I shouted to Subject-05 who was still squirming. "I won't help you after all the things you done to me!! Besides he'll handle you!!" I swiftly ran through the hallways while looking behind me. The foot steps started getting louder and the hallway's started turning a light pink and the swarms of black snakes started flooding the hallways. "Oh God!" I sprinted as fast as I could and saw the exit just a few doors away.

"I'm going to make it!-" Before I took a step on land I was dragged back by snakes. "No...NO!" I desperately tried to grab onto something but I was only pulled back further. Subject-05 was snatched from my hands and was coiled with snakes around her,I only watched as she blew a raspberry at me. "Halt! In the name of Blixer who do you go by?" I was turned to the hooded figure who looked at me,still had his eyes covered. I didn't know whether to answer or not so I just stayed quiet. "Oh you want to give the the silent treatment? Surely I'll get answers from you in a "different" way..." Before I could think I was knocked out.

A few hours later...

I woke back up in the lab but it was completely covered in hues of pink besides the bed that was completely normal. As I tried to take a step off someone spoke up. "I wouldn't do that if I were you. It would be very painfully." The hooded figure sat on a chair in front of me sipping a soda while Subject-05 was drinking an apple juice. "Why...? What haven't you left yet? Are you going to turn me into one of them?" I shouted as I pointed at the figure. "Tsk tsk tsk... It looks like you have forgotten me Cube." He pulled off his hood to reveal a familiar face,Barracuda.

"Barracuda? Why?-" "Because you abandoned me long ago to chase your own passions,you left me all alone with no notes or anything. I felt a pain every since and I have planned this day for years." He paused for a second before changing his tone. "But why did you decide to leave? We could have made a successful company together." He walked over to me while I only stared. "Well... it's because I wanted to help those poor shapes with the conditions they had,that was more important to me than funds or even a company. I left so I could save others,it was just so I could stop this corruption." I continued to rant to him about why I had left until he turned away and exited the room.

I stared at the door for a few minutes before he had come back in with a soda can. "Want one for old time sake?" He held on in front of me as I carefully took it and started to drink it. Plex had fallen asleep on a small pile of books while using a page as a blanket. "You know Cube...the whole reason this corruption happen was before of how people mistreated Blixer." "What do you mean Cuda?" He paused a bit before looking at me. "Don't call me Cuda but the reason was that back then shapes never like monsters they called his species. They hunted him till they thought they killed him but he never did so he made this Corruption to show who's the boss. Course we never planned this far out so Blixer is just trying to pass time by."

"So it wasn't just for power but for revenge?" "Yes...they killed his entire family right in front of him... That's why he wants to succeed in this plan so no one else gets hurt. Cube if I were to ask you to join us corrupted shapes would you?" He got up from the chair once again and picked up Plex. "Umm..." "It's a question not one of those would you love me if I were a worm. He wants one scientist to join and he sent me out to find them. By them I mean you. I'll protect you form the corrupt just as long as you agree." He held his hand out to me as I took it,he gave me in hood and covered my head with it.

"You don't want to get corrupted now won't you? Let's go." We both walked out of the lab together,it had been my first time in a long time leaving the lab ever since this corruption formed. Barracuda and I walked all the way to a old cabin. "What? Why are we here Barracuda?" I questioned him as he only shook his head. "Boss never needed a scientist,I just wanted to find you in this new world. Now that you're here you won't have to worry about a thing anymore. Just don't answer the door I'd anyone knocks." We both walked in as he set Plex down on a pillow before grabbing me a bowl of a hot soup before I dug it.

We both spent time together once again and my worries about this new corrupted world slowly faded away the mor time I spent. We both were on the couch together talking before I slowly drifted off to sleep. "Goodnight Cube." "G night Cuda..." I mumbled before falling asleep on his shoulder.
