The second half of school goes by quickly. By the time we arrive at the manor I am ready to spend some time with my family before everything becomes hectic again. We are sitting outside as Logan flies on his broom. I look over at the guys and smile as I see them debate the position he will get. This is what I wanted in my life. No talk of war or fearing for our lives, just time together without a care.

Later that night I sit with Tom as we go over the plan. I agreed it would work but we needed to be prepared if it went sideways. We needed Voldemort to die so Tom could step up. We couldn't make it look like the mark controlled everyone, that could ruin everything Lucius had worked for but we needed it to seem like the ones from Azkaban had no choice in the matter. With a few ministry approved healers in our pocket we plan to have it look as if they have had no choice. We figure it would make sense that those who couldn't be put under the imperio would need something stronger to control them.

By the time we have everything planned I feel better. The end of this was close and we could then move on to other wizarding communities. If we could unite all the communities then it would be safer for all wizarding kind. I knew it would still be years before we were there but it didn't matter. I wouldn't rest until we were on top.

I stand against the building with Hailey and Draco under a disillusion charm. We were here if anything went wrong. Hopefully after this we wouldn't have to worry about actual war anymore. When I spot my father stop and talk to Lucius I know that is the sign. Suddenly the clouds become dark as masked death eaters began to appear. We needed this to look as real as possible. My father not wasting anytime pulls his wand and the battle begins as Voldemort appears.

"The transfiguration is good." Hailey whispers, leaning into me.

"I'm just glad they can actually put up a fight." It wouldn't be believable if my father was able to easily take him out. As the battle continues I see auras arrive but no one seems to want to get in the middle of it. My father even lets some of the weaker curses and hexes hit him before baring down him. The moment Voldemort falls over dead the death eaters fall alongside him.

I just shake my head when the auras stand there for a moment dumbfounded. A few healers we had set in place rush over to check on everyone as the auras finally begin doing their jobs. As the masks are removed from the death eaters a dark smoke pours out of their lips. I nice party trick Hailey had found that worked perfect here. It truly looked like something evil was leaving their bodies.

"You know we are going to be here for hours." Draco groans.

"We could be the ones on the ground out there." Hailey points out. Yeah no, I will take my position of making sure no aura gets a little too excited to take down death eaters.

Draco

It takes a few hours to get everything sorted and by the time we are given the signal we can leave I am over this. I know it is necessary but I hated sitting on the sidelines. When we make it back to the manor we go on the hunt for Logan. We find him walking the gardens and the moment he spots us he runs over.

"How did it go? Is everyone ok?" The rapid questions continue and I smile.

"Everything went fine, just like we planned. It will take a little while to get their names cleared but it should happen. No more needing to fear Voldemort." Hailey says, trying to keep up with the questions. The words seem to finally register and he gives us a beaming smile before changing the topic to what he had been doing today. This is what I wanted, walking the gardens as a family talking about nothing important.

By that night Tom finally arrives home and we are called for a meeting. When I walk in I see he looks pleased. Once we are all seated he stands.

"Today has gone better than expected. The permanent transfiguration held perfectly and the body of Voldemort was destroyed on the ministers order just in case he came back again." Tom says smirking.

"What about the others?" I ask.

"The mark is completely gone and the healers are now saying it was similar to a magical parasite. There is a Wizengamot meeting being scheduled to choose what happens to them. From what I could gather the sympathy for those who had the mark is growing. Bellatrix's dramatics are definitely being put to good use." He says and that has most at the table laughing. That sounded about right for her and I was just glad they wouldn't be thrown back into Azkaban without a trial. Right now, it was a waiting game, but I couldn't see us not coming out on top.
