Mattheo

I run into Logan and Draco first. I laugh as Logan takes off towards our room. I stop him before he can enter and he pouts as he waits by the door. Next, I find my father and Lucius talking in the study. Neither shows how happy they are but I can see it in their eyes. Narcissa and Bellatrix demand to see her and I stand back not wanting to get in the middle of that.

I lean back and watch as everyone fusses over her. I would have my time with her once everyone leaves. Draco comes to stand beside me and I chuckle at his pout.

"How much longer until we can get her alone?" He asks.

"Be my guest and go stop your mother from fretting over her." I laugh as he pales slightly. It takes a few hours for her to slip away and she walks over to us. She looks so free and I'm happy she is doing better. She grabs our hands and takes us up to our room. Casting a silencing charm she begins explaining everything that happened while she was asleep. We explain how death had been speaking with us but we couldn't see him. She confirmed it had to do with our soul bonds. I had figured that and knew it could come in handy if something ever happened.

The next two days I spend my time spending time with everyone and working on my magic. It was slightly different using my abilities in the mortal plane but I got the hang of it quickly. I wake up early and make sure everything is prepared for everyone to arrive. Most would go into training with Bellatrix and a few others would be getting lessons in politics with Lucius. At ten the floo flares with the first arrivals. Ginny and Blaise step out followed shortly by Luna. Not far behind is Neville.

"Hello everyone. Mattheo and Draco are in the backyard and will explain what training everyone will have. You will have today to relax and tomorrow morning we will have a meeting. Neville, I need you to stay here for a moment." I say dismissing them. When we are alone I sigh. I knew this could go one of two ways.

"Neville I just wanted you to know that Bellatrix will be doing most of the training. If you don't feel comfortable around her then I will find someone else to train you." He looks down and fiddles with his wand. I don't rush him, I know this is hard on him.

"Can I talk to her? I have noticed that most things have two sides and I want to know hers." I smile at him, proud.

"Yes, I can arrange that. I want you to feel comfortable here." He nods and walks away. It doesn't take long for Cedric, Susan, and Hermione arrives. The twins arrive last, as they have spent most of their summer setting up the joke shop. I stop by Tom's office to let him know everyone arrived before heading outside. I am glad to see everyone relaxed and getting along. It doesn't take long for the house elves to deliver lunch outside and I grab Neville pulling him to the side. He looks nervous but holds his head high as we walk inside and into the tea room. Bellatrix and Narcissa are sitting at the table when we walk in. I squeeze Neville's hand and lead him over to a seat.

"Hailey tells me you want to know what happened. Rodolphus and I had been walking with our daughter. She was two months old. We were attached, I tried to get away but she was too young to apparate with. They fired the killing curse hitting my daughter. I lost it after that." My heart breaks at the sight of such a strong woman crying. Neville sits there in shock, I hate that they will both suffer from the deeds of others. Neville finally stands and hugs her. I can't hold back my tears and I'm not the only one. Narcissa has tears streaming down her face.

"I don't blame you." Neville's voice is barely above a whisper and I stand walking out of the room. I hope this will help both of them.

Logan

I watch as the training begins. Hailey was worried about me being involved but I convinced her learning how to defend myself would be a good idea. I was more worried something would happen to her and I would be unable to help. I also talked Cissa into teaching me healing. It took more magic to heal someone but I wanted to be prepared. It still felt like a dream sometimes that I finally had a family that loved me. It still hurt that my biological parents didn't fight for me but I wouldn't trade my life for the world. Now if I could just keep my new mom from passing out for days or weeks at a time it would be perfect.

Draco

Luna comes out of the training room smiling while most of the others look worn out. I chuckle as she skips over to me.

"They are coming along well." I shake my head as she begins looking around, her mind already on something else. I wait for the last person to leave before walking into the training room. Hailey preferred to practice after everyone else, she had perfect control over her magic now but she still worried she would hurt one of them. I lean against the wall as she casts spells and throws in her fire every once in a while. We didn't want others to know about her fire until it was absolutely necessary. After a few more rounds she stops and comes over to me.

"Are you excited about tomorrow?" I ask. The meeting with Fenrir had been pushed back and it was finally time.

"Yes but I worry it won't be enough. We are trying to change the laws but the light still holds a majority vote." I pull her into a hug and just hold her. I hated that there wasn't much I could do. All I can do is support her.

"Let's go find Mattheo and Logan and go out as a family for a few hours." She pulls away from me and I can see the war inside her. She wants everything perfect but there isn't anything for her to do until tomorrow.

"Fine." She sighs and I can't help but chuckle.

Hailey

Spending the day as a family yesterday did help. I feel calm as I enter the meeting room with Tom. I still couldn't get around calling him Marvolo. Fenrir is already waiting for us. I take my seat and allow Tom to start the meeting, they had a decent history together. I listen as they talk politics and the hardship for the pack. I hate that small children are being treated horribly for things they can't control.

"I hear you have something to talk to me about." I give him a small smile.

"Yes, as you know the war is getting closer and we need all we can get. I have an offer for you and your pack, even if you choose to sit out of the war it is yours." I pass over the paperwork I got from Gringotts. The Peverell line had many manors that were just sitting there. They also had old wards that would protect the pack. I watch as he reads through everything.

"The land would go in your name to show that your pack is secure. Take a few days to talk it over with your pack. Nothing has to be set in stone tonight." I add I want him to feel comfortable taking the pack there. He seems to be in shock and I can't blame him.

"What do you want for this?" His eyes are hard but I keep my cool.

"It is yours. All I ask is that you consider joining us and put in a good word for me to the vampires. They are incredibly hard to track down." I say smiling.

"You are saying if we choose to stay out of it you won't take it back." I can understand his doubts.

"That is exactly what I am saying. Children are innocent and should have a chance to grow up without worrying." He gives me a disbelieving look and I chuckle. "Yes, I heard of your reputation that the light has spread but I highly doubt you truly target children with no reason."

"You would be correct. I have only turned in children who were in danger with their families. I will admit when I was younger my judgment wasn't the best but I protect my pack." I nod accepting his answer. No one was a saint and he admitted his wrongs.

"We can go check out the property if you would like. We also have plans to open up Hogwarts to all magical children even if they are a werewolf. It is still a ways off but we hope to get there." We first needed the laws changed that took away their freedom. We talk a little longer and plan for another day to go look at the property. I was one step closer to my goals and it felt great.
