It has been two years since my defeat of Voldemort. While some of my members took longer to get released everyone's names had been cleared. Labeled as being controlled by a mad man. While I had only planned to stay headmaster until we won, I find I quite enjoy my position. It hadn't been hard to pull Britain under my control after Voldemort's defeat and now, while Lucius was still minister, I had the final say. The moment Hailey, Mattheo, and Draco graduated I announced them as a high guard along with their group. They had more power than auras and were already moving onto different wizarding communities. They had been married shortly after that and spent a week visiting the different communities closest to us. I couldn't be happier with how things are running. I had the power with my family beside me.
I sit at the head of the table as we have our monthly family dinner. It was Narcissa who insisted on it and truthfully none of us wanted to upset her. As we are all talking Mattheo stands to get our attention. Once the table is quiet Hailey and Draco stand with him.
"We have an announcement, we recently found out Hailey is pregnant." Draco says and it doesn't take long for the table to explode in cheers and congratulations. Narcissa reaches them first with Bellatrix not far behind. I sit back and wait for the women to finish before heading over to them.
Hailey
I allow the family to fuss over me as I hold my men's hands. We had told Logan last night and today he is standing next to Draco looking just proud. He was happy to be an older brother after we explained to him that he would always be our son and we would still love him even after the baby was born. We still had a ways to go before we were truly on top, but everything was working in our favor, and I couldn't be happier. I had a true family that loved and cared for me. My child would never go through what I had. They would grow up with love and security. Mattheo squeezes my hand and I look over smiling at him before kissing his cheek then turning to kiss Draco's cheek. This was where I was meant to be.
