"Y/N!" Taehyung burst through the backdoor, a ball of buoyant energy. You look away from your painting as he bounds over to you. You are the only one at home at the moment. Namjoon is at the library and Yoongi is on what seems like a date with Jimin. He had been very careful to make it clear it was nothing of the sort, his denial knew no bounds.

" have a surprise for you!" He tugs you playfully by the hand, biting his bottom lip, "Come on, it's over at my place!" There is something about Tae that makes it incredibly hard to say no. He pauses long enough for you to clean your brushes and then you let him drag you outside and through the hole in the fence.

His boxy grin makes your heart flutter as he leads the way up the porch to the backdoor. The layout of their house is different. Their backdoor leads straight into the kitchen which takes up half of the bottom floor. They have the most adorable breakfast nook to the left. You and Taehyung have napped there together several times.

As you keep walking straight, you walk past a half bath and through a doorway to the living room then to the left are stairs that lead to the second floor. Upstairs there is a master bedroom that Jimin and Taehyung share and another smaller bedroom they use as a guest bedroom.

Taehyung pulls you into the kitchen and gestures to the table with a flourish. You aren't sure what he's so excited about.

You see some strange plastic tools, some of them look similar to tools you use for painting. You see a couple bowls of water and then plastic bags full of what? You lean in closer to get a better look.

"Clay?" You ask excitedly.

"You said you wanted to learn, so I brought some stuff home with me."

You clap your hands excitedly and rush to take a seat in the nook. Taehyung sits next you and starts pulling chunks off clay out of the bags.

"I'm going to teach you how to do coil sculptures."

He shows you how to roll the clay, wetting it when it gets too dry. Once you both have a long coil, you begin building. He hands you a tool that is used to cut into the surface of the coil.

"It's like holding hands, if you put your palm next to another person's palm," He holds his hand up and waits for you to place your hand flat against his, "It's super easy to pull away." He pulled his hand away to emphasize the point, "But if you break the clay up," he intertwined his fingers with yours, "it's harder to pull away." He smiles at you suggestively and you look away smiling shyly. He lets go of your hand and you continue building.

You love watching Tae work with the clay, it just comes alive under his fingers. It is as if this medium is his and he just shares it with everyone else, the way he pushes and pulls at it, shaping in with the tips of his fingers. He frowns slightly then softens into a smile.

He is so beautiful, the thought slips in unbidden and takes you by surprise, not because you haven't thought it before because one look at him and that's all there is to think, no it's because of the emotion behind it. The soft, tender, heart tugging sensation that fills your chest.

He notices you staring and quirks an eyebrow at you, but you don't look away for several more seconds, wanting to search those deep, green pools of his.

"Y/N?" Your name comes out of his mouth as a purr and you're finally able to look away.

"Hmm?" You pretend to get back to the sculpture in front of you. He purrs your name again, but you don't look up, you're regretting your actions. Why in the world had you just been staring at him like that?

"Y/N, look at me." His voice is low and it sends a shiver up your spine. You slowly look up at him, your breath catching in your chest. He blinks lazily and leans in, noses brushing and then lips brushing. Your eyes flutter close as he rolls his lips against yours, lightly sucking on your bottom lip.
