 "I'm Yoongi, by the way and this is Y/N and Namjoon. What's your name?" The injured hybrid looks at each of you timidly

"Jungkook."

"Nice to meet you Jungkook," Yoongi extends his hand and for a heartbeat Jungkook doesn't move. Slowly, he extends his own hand and shakes Yoongi's, "Do you have a place to stay?" Jungkook shakes his head

"My owner's other hybrids didn't like me, so he had to leave me here." Yoongi's hand freezes for a moment as he pulls away from the handshake, then drops his hand in his lap.

"It's not safe for you to be out here on your own and I think you're hurt, right?" Jungkook looks quickly at you and Namjoon, the smell of fear which had faded sparks again. By the look on his face, he knows that you can smell it on him. Jungkook bites his lip.

"We'll go pack up the rest of the stuff Yoongi," You kiss his cheek, hoping that your gratitude comes through. Namjoon follows after shooting Jungkook a soft dimpled grin.

"They won't hurt you, I promise!" You hear him console Jungkook. It takes another 15 minutes to get Jungkook on his feet and walking in the direction of home. You take Namjoon's hand and the two of you walk ahead of Yoongi and Jungkook so he can see you at all times.

You and Namjoon go inside. Yoongi takes Jungkook to the back porch, leaving the screen door closed as he settles Jungkook into one of the patio chairs. You send Namjoon to get some clean clothes for Jungkook and then go to find the first aid kit. You hand a bowl of hot water, a towel, the clean clothes and the first aid kit to Yoongi one by one.

It's obvious pretty quickly where he is injured. Now that his back is to you, you can see the whole back of his shirt is red with blood. The fabric looks sticky and dirty and is torn from hip to shoulder.

"Ok buddy, can you take your shirt off for me?"

Jungkook whines as he tries to pull off his shirt. "It hurts too much," He pants.

"Y/N get me some scissors," Yoongi calls to you. You can hear Yoongi comforting the young hybrid as you search through the drawers. Snatching up the scissors, you make your way back to the porch and hand them to Yoongi, immediately stepping back to make Jungkook feel safer.

He begins cutting the shirt away. As he cuts away the fabric, he talks with Jungkook,

"How long were you in the park Jungkook?"

"Almost three days," Jungkook says with a hiss of pain. Around his wounds, the fabric is stuck, probably with dried blood and dirt. Yoongi gently wets it with water from the bowl, but the contact still makes Jungkook hiss and whimper.

"Who hurt you?"

"My owner has a wolf, a tiger and –ow! A parrot. They don't like me, they get mad when my owner takes me to things and not them."

"I'm so sorry bud! I'm going to pull this away now, ok?" He gently peels the fabric away, throwing the shirt on to the porch with a wet thwap! Yoongi hisses at the sight and you can't help the gasp that escapes your chest.

Namjoon comes up at your reaction, "Fuck!" He says under his breath. Long ragged gashes fill half of his back. They are crusted with blood and the skin around them is a painful red. Water runs down his back, dragging the blood with it in red streaks. They look raw and infected.

"Jungkook," Yoongi says softly, "We need to go to the doctor's, these scratches are infected." Jungkook whines again and it sounds like he is about to cry. The sound is heartbreaking and draws whines from you and Namjoon.

Yoongi runs his fingers through Jungkook's hair, "It'll be ok, I'm going to take care of you, we're going to take care of you."

Yoongi leaves Jungkook on the porch to come into the kitchen and get his wallet and keys. Jungkook is crying now, his head in his hands. Every instinct in your body tells you to go over and comfort him but you stay your ground.
