GRAYSON and Finn get back to camp just in time to see Clarke playing a drinking game with a few others. As the metal piece begins to fall off her nose, Grayson catches it.
"What is it?" Clarke asks with annoyance as she turns to the brothers.
Finn gestures, "let's a take a walk."
"You were going to lose anyway, Griffin," Grayson jokes only to have Clarke look unamused, "come on, grouchy pants."
"Sorry," Clarke says before leaving with Finn.
Grayson turns back to the table and throws the metal into the cup, everyone lets out a cheer at the action. One of the girls smiles at him across the table which makes Grayson wink at her.
"Did something happen?" Clarke asks as Grayson catches up to them.
"I need you to come with us," Finn says making Clarke stop in her tracks, "but we can't tell you why, okay?"
"Finn, tell me why."
Grayson can't help but feel tension — that doesn't involve the current situation their in — as Clarke moves her hand away after Finn reaches out.
"Hey, don't," she snaps before looking towards Grayson, "Gray, can you tell me what the hell—"
"We set up a meeting with the grounders," Finn says which brings Clarke's attention back onto him.
"A meeting? I don't understand," Clarke asks as she glances to the drunken teens then back to the brothers, "with who? How?"
"It was the grounder from the drop-ship," Grayson says as he runs a hand through his hair, "well, actually his name is Lincoln and not just 'the grounder'."
"Wait a second," Clarke raises her hand to stop them, "he spoke to you— the both of you?"
"Trust me, I was just as surprised as you were, Griffin."
"That's not important," Finn says as he looks towards Grayson, "if we want to live in peace—"
"Finn, we can't live in peace with people who've done nothing but kill us," Clarke reminds and the memories of their past run-ins with grounders replay in Grayson's mind.
The image of John's body as it hit the ground making him cringe, "can you think of a better way to stop the bloodshed?" Finn's voice knocks him back into the present.
