"you remember how busy she used to be, what makes you think she has time for us now!"

GRAYSON stands between Raven and Finn. The sun beating down on them as they look around the wreckage of the exodus ship.

The smell of metal, burnt wood and petrol fills Grayson's nostrils making him scrunch his face in disgust.

"Clarke shouldn't be out here," Finn says with his arms crossed.

Grayson looks towards his blonde leader, "you don't think I tried to stop her?" He asks with an eye roll, "she didn't want to stay back, Finn."

"Her mom was on the ship, she's looking for answers."

Raven's words spark a thought. Answers, I need answers. Grayson glances at his brother's face, eyebrows drawn in worry. She was a Tech. Was. Is she—

"You want to help her, find me the black box," Raven says as she begins to walk through the ruined ship, "hard drives, anything that will explain why this ship crashed."

Grayson is pulled away from the thoughts of his mother to begin looking around the rumble. The sight of charred trees and shattered ship part lay waste at his feet. Is she dead? The thought makes him shake his head.

"Stay sharp," Bellamy calls out to those surrounding them, "grounder retaliation for what happened on the bridge is coming, just a matter of when?"

Finn lets out a huff as he glares at Bellamy's back, "can you blame them?"

"No, I blame you," Bellamy says, turning back to look at Finn.

"Maybe if you didn't bring guns—"

"If we didn't bring guns, we would've all been killed," Raven chimes in, her expression pinched.

Grayson throws down a piece of metal that he picked up which catches their attention, "enough, alright?" He snaps, "we've destroyed our last chance at any moment of peace with the grounders."

"You're—"

"Enough, Finn," Grayson says as he runs a hand through his hair, "it's over, done. Let's leave it alone because what happened doesn't matter right now."

"Why they're coming doesn't matter anymore, it's our job to be ready," Bellamy states only for Grayson to clench his fists and muffle a groan, "we're on our own now."

Grayson looks around finding Raven with her eyes on Finn — who's only look at Clarke which makes him look towards the sky in hopes someone will help his idiot brother.
