I was just finishing up a shoot my assistant set up and I walked back to the changing rooms and began to change my clothes into a regular outfit I'll wear.

I would now have time to myself so Riley my best friend decided she wants to go to a coffee shop after I'm done .

Once I got my thing's leaving I talked to my assistant before I left. " hey so I'm about to leave feel free to take a break you know I hate when you overwork yourself " I say and she smiles and nod.

I walk outside to my car getting in and I let my car call Riley. " are you ready ? I been waiting for years " she complain.

" yes I am , where are you?" I asked. "Sitting at the shop waiting on you... meanwhile I met a cute guy... more like hot.. but him and his friend just left so that's what you get for taking forever " she says .

" whatever " I say laughing. " plus you need to move on from cameron " she said making me sigh at the sound of my ex name being brought up.

That story we will save for another day ..

" I'm almost there I'll see you" I say quickly hanging up. Riley was pretty much almost in the same predicament as me.. she just was a famous clothing designer so I would model most of her clothes which  was great for the both of us.

I parked and seen there wasn't many people here which made me happy cause press and all the cameras are overwhelming most times. It's my life now..

I walk inside and seen her sitting in the corner with two cups of coffee on the table. " hi my beautiful best friend " she tease smiling as I greet her back.

"So ! Talk to me" she says sliding my drink to me. "Thanks and my day was actually okay , I had the chance to take some clothes I model for the day home but I haven't took no pictures of anything lately since my camera is getting fixed " I say and she nods.

"I'm surprised you haven't bought a spare camera cause taking your photography class is literally your thing" she says shock.

"Yea I know but it's okay , it just gives me a break from things anyway" I smile and she nods in agreement.

"The clerk keeps checking you out " she said giggling and I look over to see him and he turns and blush.

I giggled and turned back to Riley talking until I got a call from my dad. Me and my dad relationship is weird kinda , we still love each other but it's awkward between us sometimes cause we rarely talk.

I'm mom's favorite and my little brother is his favorite we don't let that eat us up tho we still communicate just not as often.

"Hello?" I said confused. "Hey darling I know this is odd but me and your mother need to see you tonight we're having a dinner with some old friends of ours and they want you here also so please tell me you will show ? It's kinda of a emergency talk also." He said making my suspicions grow even more.

"Uh.. yea.. sure dad what time ? " I asked rubbing my temples. "8 pm hun I would love to see you here before that time so please join us will you?" He says and I take a deep breath.

"Please sissy ! I miss you! " I hear my little brother squeal from his side of the phone. "I will king I'll see you dad " I say smiling a little.

"Ok darling love you be safe " he says and we hang up the phone. I sigh sitting my phone down as my best friend was waiting on me to tell her the details.

"My dad wants me to come to their home for a dinner ... a important dinner..." I explained and she nods thinking of what to say.

"Well you should go , your family misses you and also it might be for a good cause " she explained. "Yea... I am.... I'm hoping it's for a good reason.." I say sipping my coffee .

"Actually... I want you to come with me" I say and she drop her cup looking at me I'm shock. "Zali this is a family dinner I'm not coming.. you can just call me after or something but I'm not coming ... I love you but this is family time for you" she explain cleaning up her coffee.

"You are family what do you mean... they all know that" I say and she sighs . "No zali enjoy YOUR time with YOUR family .." she says and I nod in agreement.

"Your right.. plus I have till 8pm to hang with my bestie " I say smiling . "So let's go find you something good looking to wear for tonight " she says getting up.

We walked back to the cash register where the boy was checking me out stood and I wink my eye at him giving him my number on a piece of paper .

Usually I wouldn't do that but he looked so good and handsome and he was a shy boy how cute. "Let's go!" She yelled making me run out the door behind her.

We walked a block down to a store and bought some dresses for the both of us. I bought her some and she bought me some that's how we always shopped together.

It was currently 5:27 pm . "Hey I'm about to probably head back home to get dressed and get cleaned up" I say. "Okay drive safe text me everything love you " she kisses my cheek and we part ways.

I get into my car driving to my complex and I unlock the door with my keys and locking it back. I take off my shoes and drop my bags into my room and hop into the shower .

Once I got out I seen I was in there too long and now I'm little on time. I get dressed into a brown skirt with a long sleeve shirt tucked into it and some long boots to match.

I start doing my curly hair which is probably going to take a while to do but it's the last thing I have to do.

Once I was done I got everything I needed and headed to my car driving there. I arrived seeing a couple cars in the yard and I walked into the house being embraced into a hug by my brother who is 16 but acts 6 .

"Hi king " I giggled and he smiled . I heard a deep voice clear their throat and it didn't sound familiar so I looked up and there he was..

My fucking high-school rival more like enemy..
