"Her majesty Hestia would like to visit!"
Kagayaku awoke slowly, eyes fluttering open to hear the blaring sound of trumpets and the excited, yet confused, voices of her family members. Rubbing her eyes, Kagayaku was quite puzzled herself, eyeing the window and her clock, seeing that it was only 6 in the morning. The door to her bedroom swung open suddenly to reveal an excited looking Boreal. "Kagayaku, get up! Queen Hestia of the SkyWings is here!" She exclaimed before shutting the door again and running down the halls.
The hybrid sat up and got out of bed, turning on the lights and exiting the room, not even bothering to check her wound. Nobody was in the hallways, but judging from the sounds of chatter, they were in the living room. Kagayaku trotted to the room to see her family sat on the sofa with Queen Hestia, her guards watching the situation. The SkyWing queen turned to the hybrid when she came in, and her face lit up as she clasped her hands together. "Ah! There's the one I wanted to see!" She exclaimed. Kagayaku smiled, she remembered Hestia, she'd helped her and Mepuru when they had been attacked by Makoto in the woods.
The Queen rose from the sofa and strode over to Kagayaku. "May I have a few moments alone with her?" She asked the others, turning to face them. "Ah, you wanted to see Kagayaku?" Boreal cocked her head. "Of course your Majesty." She did a little bow from where she was sitting.
Hestia smirked and turned back to Kagayaku. "Let's go." She said, spreading a little wing in the direction of the door. Kagayaku nodded and turned around, directing Hestia to her room. Kagayaku closed the door behind them and sat on her bed.
"So, Kagayaku! It's been a while, how is everything?" Hestia asked, sitting next to her and smiling warmly.
The young hybrid frowned and shook her head. "Bad. Really bad. I don't think I told you everything." She replied.
Hestia blinked in confusion and astonishment. "Really? Why are things so sour?" She inquired, cocking her head.
Kagayaku sighed. "Listen, you may not believe me, but..." She proceeded to explain everything that had happened to her so far, about the death curse, Makoto, the strange RainWing in her comatose mindscape, fighting Makoto in the woods, and so on. Hestia let out a gasp of horror once the dragonet had finished. "Are you saying the Spirit of Life and Death attacked us in the woods that day?!" The queen cried out, looking around worriedly after Kagayaku nodded in response.
"This... This is terrible, Kagayaku." Hestia stated, shaking her head and frowning.
Kagayaku sighed. "I know, and to make things worse, I think the curse is going to become more... Extreme, now that I've angered Makoto even more."
