Felix walked out of his class, heading to lunch. He met Jake in the hallway, a little greeting as he did. It was Friday, so Jake was all hyped about it. However, Felix didn't feel so good. He loved the weekends, he just hated it was Friday.

Jake knew his mood and tried to cheer him up, but he couldn't say why he knew, or even talk about it because he didn't want to bring it up.

They sat down at the table after getting their food. Felix sat in silence picking at his dry chicken.

"So," Jake started. "Did you hear from Hyunjin?" Jake said.

Felix kinda drooped after the mention of his name. "No, not since yesterday. I think he's like ignoring me." He said lowly.

"Ignoring you? Did you text him or something?" Jake asked, curious.

"Well... no."

"Then i doubt he's ignoring you." He chuckled. He observed Felix, waiting for him to say something about it. Anything.

"Yeah"

Yeah?!? That's it??

"Felix." He said steely and finally. Felix looked up, "yeah..?"

"You know I'd still be your friend no matter what..." he said, confusing Felix.

"Yeah... is there a problem?" He asked.

Jake groaned. "I can't do this anymore." He dropped his fork and looked Felix right in the eye. "Answer me, full honesty. No bullshit."

Felix was a little nervous, but he still nodded.

"Do you like Hyunjin?"

What.

Felix froze. "How.. what?"

"I saw the way you looked at him and i don't know even acted when he mention that girl. I see the way you kinda blush when he says like literally anything. And you seem so bum today, the day of his date. Am I just over reading this or do you like him?" Jake said, in one breath.

"Okay woah." Felix said. "First of all, your really smart how did you even know."

Jake just shrugged. "I take after my mom. Now, does that mean you like him?"

Felix kinda looked around then started, speaking quietly. "Yeah. I do. I liked him even since we were like 13 and it has just grown ever since. I'm so scared to say anything because he isn't at all into boys."

"Oh." Jake said. "He said that?"

"We'll, no, but he's always about girls so I kinda figured."

"Hmm." Jake hummed. "Do you just plan on not saying anything, ever?..."

"Yeah. Pretty much." Felix said.

"Well i guess that's understandable."  Jake nodded.

"Yeah. I've never told anyone so please don't say anything."

"I-"

"Told anyone what?" Hyunjin plopped down next to Felix. Felix blushed madly.

"Uh, nothing. Just silly things." He said, almost stuttering.

Hyunjin giggled. "Silly things? Come on now i have to know."

"It's about my grandma." Jake said.

Hyunjin looked at him weirdly. "Oh dude never mind. I don't wanna hear about your grandma." He took a sip of his water.

Felix giggled at Jake. He just shrugged.

The final bell rang, the guys walked out of their class. They all shared their final class, so it was easy for them to find each other after school.

"Okay so," Jake said, walking ahead of the boys and turning around, facing them. "What do you guys wanna do?"

Hyunjin gave him a knowing look.

"Oh shit." He walked over next to Felix. "What do you want to do?"

Felix looked a little bummed. But he didn't want to bum Jake out. "What if.." he trailed off. "We go to my house? We can just do stuff all night and you can even stay over til tomorrow if you'd like?"

Jake gasped. "Like a sleepover!" He wanted to cheer up the boy, and he had never actually had a sleepover so he was excited. "We can watch movies, do face masks, and even paint our toenails"

Felix giggled, playing along. "We can play dress up!"

Jake smiled, "my favorite!"

The boys giggled like little girls, Hyunjin just looked at them. "Wow, I'm really missing out." He mocked.

"Mhmmm." Jake teased. He pulled out his phone and called his mom, walking away for a moment leaving the two alone.

Hyunjin looked at Felix, who was avoiding his eyes. "Why are you avoiding me? You haven't said more than three words to me all day."

"That's not true, and I'm not avoiding you." Felix said looking at the ground.

Hyunjin lifted his chin, turning his face to him. "Then look at me," Felix and him made eye contact. "There, better." He dropped his hand.

Jake came around the corner. Still in a teasing mood, "my mommy says yes as long as your mom says yes."

Felix immediately looked away from Hyunjin, casing him to sigh. He started to giggle at the boy who was acting like a toddler.

"You're so weird." He grabbed his arm, locking his with it as they started to walk to Felix's. Hyunjin walked beside them, Jake and him talked on the way to the houses. Felix was kinda in the conversation too.

"Im gonna go, I got to get ready for my date." He said when they reached his street.

"Okay." Felix said, not even stopping. However Jake stopped, so he also had to since they were interlocked.

"Okay, have fun. See you this weekend?" Jake said.

"Yeah that sounds good. I'm free all weekend, i think." Hyunjin replied. He looked at the blonde boy who was avoiding looking at him as he talked.

"Bye you." He said, then turned to Jake. "Bye Jake. See you guys."

The two boys turned to continue walking as Hyunjin walked off. Hyunjin stopped, and looked at the two as they both smiled and laughed while walking to Felix's. He felt a little feeling in his chest, sighing. He turned to walk off, focusing his mind back to his date. However, it was kinda hard.
