Forget about it

The next morning Felix walked into school immediately looking for Jake. He hasn't heard from the boy since Sunday when he left his house.

He saw him walking out of the bathroom, yawning. He giggled as he started walking over to him.

"Hey Felix" Jake said as he saw the other boy.

"Hi. You look like shit."

Jake sorta chuckled. "Good morning to you too." He yawned again.

"Did you not get enough sleep?" Felix asked.

Jake shook his head mid yawn. "No way." He spoke.

Felix just giggled and hugged the boy, pulling him close. "Thank you."

Jake pulled away. "For what?" He asked.

"Everything." Felix stated. "Without you this year would fucking suck."

Jake laughed. "I love you Felix."

"Love you too."

Felix walked into his class. He dreaded it, since Hyunjin was there. He hasn't seen the boy since the party, and he wasn't planning on seeing him ever.

He walked over and sat at his desk, next to Hyunjin's. Hyunjin looked at the boy, hesitantly. Felix knew he was looking but avoided his eyes.

Hyunjin was going to say something before the teacher walked in, interrupting him. Felix thanked the teacher a million times in his mind.

Class went on, however towards the end of his class a note was placed in his desk. He knew who put it there, so he didn't bat an eye.

He silently and carefully picked up the note, like it was made of class. He hesitated as he opened it slowly.

Meet me on the roof at lunch. We need to talk.

Fuck.

Shit what was he supposed to do now?

He let out a shaky breath as he folded the note back up. He put it in his pocket, obviously going to show Jake.

The rest of the class he was unbothered, but he felt Hyunjin's eyes. He never once looked at Hyunjin, he was terrified too.

He still had a few classes before lunch, so he wasn't stressing that much. The bell rang and he immediately stood up and ran out the door. He ran right to Jake and tapped him.

"Jake" He groaned.

"What?" He asked confused.

Felix pulled out the note and handed it to him, watching as he did the same. Carefully undoing it and reading what's inside.

"Oh. My. God." Jake looked up at him.

Felix nodded. "I know right. What do I do? What do I say? What is he going to say?"

"I guess you have to go to find out." Jake teased.

"Ugh." Felix groaned. "You're no help."

Jake giggled as the bell rang again, signaling for everyone to get to class.

"I gotta go. You better go up there." Jake warned, pointing a finger at Felix.

"Okay. Fine." Felix said, walking off.

The rest of his classes went by quickly, considering he didn't pay attention the whole time. He was stressed now. In five minutes, his whole world could change.

He sat up out of his desk and left the classroom. Slowly dragging himself down the hall. He felt a feeling in his chest, he was anxious. It felt like he couldn't breathe almost.

He reached the rooftop door, sighing as he pushed it open. He walked up the steps and out onto the patio.

He looked around and spotted a silhouette in the distance. He cleared his throat, warning him he was there. Hyunjin turned around and felt his breath hitch as he saw the younger walking towards him.

"You made it." He stated.

"Mhm. " Felix said.

Hyunjin turned back around and leaned against the railing. He looked out over the yard. The school was three stories, so it was quite the view.

Felix sighed. "So?"

Hyunjin let out a breath. "So..." he trailed off. "About that night..." he began.

Felix's heart was beating like crazy as he spoke. He thought finally, it was happening. I mean, he said he wanted him. Felix also wanted him back. He was going to confess right here, right now.

"It was a mistake." Hyunjin said. He turned to Felix, who was staring at him.

Oh!

"Let's forget about it." He spoke.

Felix felt his insides churn. "Oh.." he said shakily.

"Yeah, i uh. I have a girlfriend, and your my best friend; just that. So I'm sorry, I don't know what got into me. I'm not gay." Hyunjin stated.

"Let's just forget about it."
