It had been a week. It had been a week since Hyunjin spoke to Felix about the accident.

He felt better, finally expressing how he felt to his best friend. Though something felt different.

Hyunjin swooped up Yujin smiling widely as she giggled. "Hi gorgeous." He said to her.

"Hi Jinnie." She smiled.

Hyunjin felt his heart hurt hearing the nickname. Felix calls me that.

"Since the day is over, why don't we go out?" He suggested.

"Hmm. How about we go to a cafe?" She held his hand as they walked out of the school.

He saw Felix on his way out. He looked at the blonde boy, seeing him talk with Jake. He missed him, he wants to have him back.

"Yeah sure, let's go." He turned back to Yujin.

They entered the cafe. The cafe he and Felix went too. They ordered their drinks. Pumpkin spice like Felix did. They sat down at the nearest table. The one Felix and him sat at together.

They talked about school and how exhausting it was. Hyunjin said he just wanted to graduate already, but it was a long way ahead.

"You can graduate early," Yujin suggested.

"Yeah me and Felix-" he paused. "Yeah I was uh, planning on doing that."

She smiled at him. "Me too, I find it funny how-"

She went on but it honestly didn't register in Hyunjin's mind. Something felt off, he didn't feel right. It was hard to pay attention.

"Yeah we should get going." Yujin said. "It's been almost an hour."

Hyunjin tilted his head "It has..?"

"Mhm." She giggled. "I swear you're so weird."

He forced a laugh. "Yeah, forgetful me."

They exited the cafe and started to walk back to Hyunjin's house. Yujin stopped suddenly, causing Hyunjin to stop as well.

"Im gonna get going, I'll see you tomorrow." She smiled. She leaned up to give him a kiss, but Hyunjin swerved her.

He smiled. "I'll see you later." And then he walked away.

Yujin stood there dumbfounded. She just shook her head. "Rough day I guess" she muttered.

-

Hyunjin headed home quickly, immediately running up the stairs. He threw down his backpack and took of his jacket, as well as his shoes.

He opened up his laptop and went on google.

Why do I feel different?

He scoffed. "I'm not sick..."

Why does my relationship feel off?

He looked at the articles that came up and sighed. She's not cheating...I don't think.

He started to become frustrated as he didn't get the answer he needed. He sighed before looking at his screen. He made the decision to just ask.

Am I gay?

He clicked on the first article. Reading the words carefully.

Questions about your sexual identity can be complicated. There are tons of words to describe different sexual orientations: lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, queer, pansexual, and so many more. Your feelings are valid. It is okay to love someone.

"To love someone." He repeated. "Do i love him?" He whispered to himself.

-

Jake sighed as he sat at the cafe. It was a little past seven now and he was bored out of his mind. He didn't want to go home just yet, but he also had no one to hangout with.

The cafe door chimed causing him to look up. There stood the girl herself, Yujin.

He blushed as he watched her order. She ordered a strawberry boba before huffing and walking to grad a straw. When she turned around, she finally noticed Jake.

She raised her eyebrows and smiled to the boy. He blushed a bit and smiled back, going back to sipping his drink.

A little while later the chair across him was pulled out, and Yujin sat in it.

"Hey stranger." She smiled.

He smiled back. "Hey, what brings you here?"

She sighed. "I'm bored, and Hyunjin is at home so I don't have anyone."

Jake chuckled. "Yeah same, Felix is sleeping."

She giggled. "Those two." She shook her head. "How about we hang out?" She suggested.

Jake blushed a bit, "don't pity me."

She giggled. "I'm not, I'm serious. You seem really fun."

He smiled before speaking again. "How about we go somewhere?"
