"i can't believe you told her we're dating to save your own ass!" Moonbyul whined, falling back on Riki's bed.
You might rightfully be asking yourself just what happened. Well?
"after she saw us yesterday it's the only believable lie" the teen protested but Moonbyul just groaned, slapping a hand on her forehead, using it to shield herself from the sunrays that fell directly on her face through the window of his dorm room.
"she's going to tell everyone! by tomorrow the entire grade will know guaranteed" Riki seemed taken aback for a moment or two before immediately going back to being his usual cold and uncaring self. Moonbyul couldn't think of a way out of the situation.
"we made a. . . pact, yesterday no?" She cocked up an eyebrow and Riki just nodded his head in response. "well this was not part of it in any possible way"
"what are you trying to say, that you wanna double your reward?" He frowned and Byul rolled her eyes. "not the point Nishimura, what can you even do for me anyway? what I'm trying to say is that you're taking advantage of the fact that I'm a little too generous"
The dark haired boy folded his arms over his chest, leaning back on his chair. She was right, she was too generous, but you can't say he was taking advantage of that, it was just that he was in a. . . difficult situation, and to his luck and her dismay, she was in the perfect place at the perfect time.
"listen Park, I'm not as bad as you think!" "damn right, you're worse!"
Moonbyul accused, pointing her finger at his face. Riki bit back a laugh. "woah! relax, feisty woman. I have the solution" He chuckled, looking as attractive as one could be while getting comfortable on his seat, his shoulders broader than the chair's backrest.
Moonbyul raised her eyebrows, implying that she was waiting for him to talk. "we won't explain anything to anyone because it's none of their business anyway"
"attaboy" Moonbyul exclaimed ironically, rolling her eyes subsequently. "honestly does it even matter?"
"yes it does! you're ruining my chances of getting an actual boyfriend!" Moonbyul cried out, sitting up on the mattress. Riki scoffed in response. "Are you sure you aren't ruining them yourself?"
"what's so terrible about me that pushes you to act so shitty?" Moonbyul asked, looking so adorable when she tilted her head to the side Riki almost wished he could just take back every word he had said to her.
He sighed softly, pushing his hair back. "you should just head back to your room" he suggested, ignoring her question completely. "answer me" she insisted, standing up, her gaze stayed persistent on his figure. She needed to know.
Riki stood in silence for what felt like more than one minute before opening his mouth to say skmething but stopping himself right away, before the words could pass his lips.
he stole a glance at Moonbyul's face and he kind of wished he hadn't. She was much prettier and much more charming that what Riki liked to admit to himself or anybody else.
"you annoy me, that's it" despite being well aware of the fact that he was lying to her face, she just shrugged it off, pretending that she had fallen for it.
she knew there was much more than merely annoyance. but it was not her main concern at the moment.
she was in a fake relationship with Nishimura Riki.
