the moonlight filtered through the thin curtains of his window, casting a gentle glow on their figures as tension burns bright between them.

"what?" moonbyul mutters, her confidence falters.
"you heard me" he grins. she wanted to punch him in the face.
"are you that desperate?" she raises her eyebrows, playing it off as she gets up from his bed.

"what if i am?" he counters, his voice sultry, his sharp eyes drifting to her lips again, undisguised desire to taste her lips burning bright in them. he moves his face near hers, reducing the distance between them to almost nothing.

"come on byul" he whispers, his lips nearly touching hers. "do it, kiss me" his voice almost an inaudible husk, filled with a heady mixture of challenge and need.

"are you really challenging me?" she murmurs, riki chuckles. "i thought it was obvious" he brushes a strand of hair out of her face delicately, his fingers feathering down the side of her neck.

"really?" she grabs his shirt, pulling him unimaginably closer, so close that one of them breathes it would close any significant distance between them. "do i have to beg you?" riki asks in a breath, melting under her gaze, the tension building to an almost unbearable point.

"please byul" he mumbled, his heart hammered in his chest, the sound deafening in his ears. moonbyul tries to snap out pf it, trying to remember why she was there in the first place, but his voice and his proximity cloud her judgement, the urge to give in stronger than her resistance.

as she looks into his eyes, the last bit of her self control crumbles. moonbyul closes the remaining distance, her lips feathering over his, a tentative brush that quickly deepened, soft and sweet. his hands find her waist, pulling her in, pressing her body against his own as he takes a step forward, pushing her against the closet.

moonbyul's hand fall on his neck, bringing his face closer, a million emotions running through her in the fraction of a second.
it felt so wrong.
it felt so right.

it feels like time barely passes, between heavy breaths and the sound of desperate kisses, blushed cheeks and messy hair. his hands on her are gentle, nearly possessive as he doesn't let her go for a split second.

JJ could never.
he thinks to himself, a sense of pride engulfs him as he pulls moonbyul flush to himself, his lips remain on hers, the taste of the lollipop on his tongue.

it felt familiar.
almost like dejavu.

his hands slide up her sides as their lips part for a brief moment, before he kisses her again, not bothering to hide how much he craved the taste of her.

riki breaks the kiss, resting his forehead on hers, his breath coming in ragged gasps. "i should go" moonbyul mumbles, gingerly pushing him away before walking out of his room, not looking back at him, before he could say anything.

she walks down the hallway to her dorm with light and rapid steps.

that shouldn't have happened.
i shouldn't have let that happen.

she pushes her hair back in frustration, reaching for her keys in her pocket.

she sighs as she opens the door, startling haerin. "i'm gonna take a shower" moonbyul informs quietly and haerin figured something was off.

she grabs her clothes and heads in the bathroom without further explanation. locking the door, she leans against the sink, taking a look at her reflection. her hair was messy, cheeks red and lips swollen, the sight only makes her blush harder, the fresh memory of what went on in riki's room flashing in her mind like the fragmets of a movie.

she wondered if her life was simply going to shit or was it simply the choices she was making. the year had started off oddly. everything was getting too complicated, too difficult.
being 18 was surely interesting.

it all started when that boy entered her life.
the moment she had met riki, her world had turned upside down.
actually, it was since when she had read that godforsaken book.

she takes a deep breath.
she wasn't sure of who to put the blame on.

"ugh god" she clutched her hair. she had to be going insane.
with a loud sigh she strips off her clothes, getting in the shower. she stands under the fresh water for a few minutes, not moving an inch. her mind was clouded.

she didn't like riki like that.
she didn't like him at all in every aspect.
but she couldn't get what happened out of her head. not that easily.

it wasn't that easy to forget how his large warm hands squeezed her waist, pressing their bodies together, the taste of the strawberry lollipop on his lips as he kissed her so passionately she nearly forgot how to breathe.

she wondered where did the sudden urge to kiss her like he meant it come from.
but knowing him, he was most likely playing around, seizing the opportunity, he wanted her dead after all, no?

moonbyul rinses herself before stepping out of the shower, drying herself and putting on fresh clothes. she grabs her phone, remembering to call her mom, frankly speaking, she didn't have the energy to explain haerin what happened.

"hey mum" she mumbles as she steps out of the bathroom, deciding to walk to the rooftop where she usually sat while on the phone.

"yeah, school is alright" she says as her mother asks her questions. "you sound sad bunny, is everything alright?" she asks, understanding her daughter must be upset at something.

"i'm just really stressed ma...about the show and everything, it's a whole mess" she sighs.
"oh don't worry so much sweetheart, i'm sure you will figure it out, you always make things work" her mum reassured as moonbyul took a seat on her usual corner of the rooftop. she hugs her knees, the cold wind blowing sporadically.

"i really wish i could come home mum"
