"why would you do all that? you know damn well what kind of reactions he has" moonbyul muttered, her voice tinged with exasperation as she sat on the grass next to sunoo. the moonlit hill was silent, the air was fresh and the sky was full of stars.

her gaze drifts up, her long hair spilling over the grass like dark silk, the moonlight reflecting in her eyes like scattered diamonds. sunoo's finger trace idle patterns on the grass with his fingers, plucking out random strands and letting them flutter away. "reactions? oh you mean the fire-breathing dragon routine? yeah i suppose that was a bit dramatic no?" he quipped, his lips curving into a playful smirk.

moonbyul snorts a laugh, trying her best to mantain her serious demeanor. "gosh sunoo i am not kidding" she rolls her eyes. a wide idiotic grin spreads on sunoo's face as he lays his head down on moonbyul's lap "come on. that was fun admit it, and it was easy like handing a match to someone standing in a puddle of gasoline" he said, his voice brimming with mischief.

moonbyul sighs and clicks her tongue. "you're so stupid" she remarked, although her tone held a hint of fondness. sunoo's grin doesn't waver for a second. "yet you're still here with me, i must be doing something right" he asserts confidently "only cause you're mildly entertaining" moonbyul shot back, though her smile betrayed her.

sunoo scoffs and sits up, placing a hand on his chest in mock hurt. "you wound me, moonbyul. i am highly entertaining, irreplaceable if i must say so myself" moonbyul shakes her head and flops down on the grass dramatically. "why?"

sunoo chuckles softly "well moonbyul? what can i say, some people knit, others play sports, i however, i choose to poke the bear" he declared, placing a cigarette between his lips. moonbyul bites back a laugh and sits up again. "why, moonbyul? seriously? that guy's reactions are spectacular, " sunoo mused as he takes another cigarette out of the back, extending it towards moonbyul's lips.

she takes the cigarette reluctantly and sunoo lights it for her. he had this strange mania to push boundaries, even if it meant facing the consequences. and of course she couldn't forget of how riki's jealousy had flared up unexpectedly, she could still feel the sting of his anger. she sighs softly, blowing out the smoke as she stares down at the cigarette between her fingers.

"what's on your mind?" sunoo asks, his voice much gentler now, as if the serenity of the night had softened his edges. moonbyul shrugs and shakes her head.

"nothing in particular"

sunoo knew she wasn't being truthful, but he doesn't push. "i did it to prove him something" he finally confesses and moonbyul turns towards him. "he looked very upset though" she pointed out quietly and sunoo smiles, taking a drag from his cigarette.
