Mari calls upon Morpheus and hands the paper to Annie to throw into the fire pit.
"Now what?" Said Annie
"We wait" said Mari " It won't take long".
"It's almost noon though and I'm starving" said Annie
"I guess it wouldn't hurt to to put something on the stove. While we wait. It shouldn't take Morpheus long" said Mari "I'm gonna head to the bathroom real quick"
Mari goes to the bathroom and does her business. She went to open the door and ran into a stone hard figure that was behind the door.
"Sorry. Didn't see you there" Mari was cut off.
"You called" said Morpheus "What is it you need old friend?" In a voice sounded like being edged into stone.
"Morpheus. Your just in time. We got a huge problem...." Before she could finish There was a huge clatter in the attic above. "I see" said Morpheus "Are there others?" He asked
"Yes but my friend Ann has fallen in love with one" she said looking up at Morpheus giving a side smile.
"How long has this been going on and why has not my sister come to claim them" said Morpheus.
"About 6 months is what Annie said." Mariana replied.
"Mari the food is done!" called Annie.
"Come with me" said Mari grabbing Morpheus hand leading him to the kitchen.
"Annie , Dalton, Lily this Is Morpheus. He is here to help" Mari said walking into the kitchen.
"Wait I know you" said Lily excitedly"You're the king of dreams ! I remember reading about you a long time ago".
"It's getting closer to be almost to late. Spirits are not supposed to remember stuff from their waking life " said Morpheus "We need to act quickly".
"What does he mean?" Said lily, asking looking at Mariana
"What he means is your coming back from the dead and that's not supposed to happen. It can cause tear in reality and time. Causing the whole world to collapse" Mari answered.
"Doesn't that mean. I could be with Annie?" Dalton said with glistening in his eye
"If you mean killing us all. Then yes" said Morpheus
"Everyone just stop. First thing, first we need to see what's in the attic and get your sister here Dream" said Mari getting annoyed. "Annie , Dalton. Im sorry you two had to meet this way and fall for each other". Mari storming off towards the attic door.
"Wait Mari. You don't know what's up there." Morpheus said grabbing Maris shoulder "Let me first" He said reaching for the attic door pulling it down and climbing up the latter.
Morpheus started to look around trying to figure out the cause of this mess.
"So Mari. How'd did you get to know this Morpheus character" asked Annie
"A dream. I was very little and very sick" Mari answered Annie look up at the attic we're Morpheus has gone.
"Andddd?" Annie nudging her friend to tell her more.
"Not now Annie. We have more important matters to tend too" said Mari. "Morpheus? Did you find the cause?" Hollered Mari
"I believe so. Can you come up here" said Morpheus calling back to Mari
"Yeah just give me a sec!" She replied then looked at Annie "Do not come up here. No matter what you hear. I don't need that thing or whatever is up there to effect you more than it already has"
