She opens her bus app to see if her bus was coming soon

She takes a deep breath ready to make a run for it.

Just as she was about to run for it she felt a tug on her hoodie. She turns around and sees 

"Juyeon?" 

Seonghwa was about to walk towards her but stopped when he saw a tall figure running towards her.

He tries to figure out who it was. Tall, clearly not Hongjoong, Not Mido. No glasses on, Juyeon?

"Let's go to the campus together," Juyeon said, taking a breather 

"I- what are you doing here?" 

"To get you to Campus," He said

"Come on I'll drive," He drags her to his car

The ride there was fast and so was the weather change, It became sunny.

They got out of the car and Juyeon takes out a cigarette

He lights it up "Want one?" He asked, shoving the box of cigarettes at her face 

"Sure- Uh I mean no," Just as she was about to accept the offer she remembered the bet Seonghwa and she had

She backs up a little

Juyeon looks at her with furrowed brows

"I want to stop smoking."

"pfft, why?"

"No reason," She said

"There has to be a reason," He looks at her 

She avoids eye contact but Juyeon keeps moving around to make contact 

"I want the change for my mom okay?" Her hands balled into a fist

"Damn you alright?"

She sighs "Yes, yes I'm."

"Your mom found out?" He asked 

She nods in response 

"She-

As Sunmi was going to talk about what had happened she sees a bright yellow umbrella from her peripheral. She looks to her left and sees Seonghwa holding onto her umbrella.

"Sun?" Juyeon tries to get her attention 

Her eyes were still fixated on the umbrella 

Or Seonghwa?

"I- I'll explain to you later during dating class, I have to go do something important," She runs in his direction 

"What-" Juyeon watches where she was going and see Seonghwa walking into the campus grounds

"Seonghwa!" Sunmi calls

He turns around to see who was calling him

It was Sunmi but his eyes set foot on Gaeun who saw talking to her boyfriend 

"Seonghwa," She calls

Back in the real world, Seonghwa looks at the person in front of him 

"Oh hi, Sunmi," He greets

She looks to see what he was looking at and sees Gaeun

"Still not over her?" She asked

"Huh? Oh no, I'm over her alright it's just that 3 years of dating is hard to forget about you know? You spend every minute together and suddenly they're no longer by your side," He said

There was silence between the two. The only sounds were of the students and a few drops of unfallen rain trapped by the trees.

He clears his throat "So, uh you called me?" 

"Oh yeah, uh that's my umbrella... I gave it to you thinking you needed it even though you were already drenched." She awkwardly laughs

"Oh, so you were the one that gave me the umbrella," He said

She nods "It has my name on the strap," She points out

He looks at the strap and sees her name and the sun emblem on it 

"I can dry it out for you, I can't pass you a wet umbrella and let it smell," He said

"I really don't mind."

"I insist," Seonghwa said

"Okayyy if you say so," They continued to walk along 

"So what class do you have now?" Sunmi asked 

"I have History and then Dating class, you?" He asked

"I have Designing and dating class of course," She said

"What do you usually do in Designing? As a third-year student of course."

"We learn about types of fabrics, stitches, and colour theory," She listed

"All of that to prepare ourselves for our exam."

"Exam?" He questioned

"The professor will give us 2 options and we will have to choose which topic to design."

"This year's topics are 1, for a sports car commercial and 2, a commercial for a Victoria's Secret Perfume."

"I have to design the topic I've chosen, one for the ladies and the other for the gents," She said

"Isn't it stressful?"

"Fuck yeah it is, that's why I smoke but I can't do that now," She said

"Maybe I should start vaping," Seonghwa glares 

She chuckles "But there's no thrill in that."

"When we want to say something important, we want to say it in person, Why is that?" Prof Suhyeok asked

"It's because we want to see their facial expressions and gestures."

"If it's over the phone, you can't see, those things, That's why your speech is very important."

"With this phone call assignment, we will practice speaking." He writes something on the board 

Phone call assignment 

"Keep these two things in mind. Number 1, ask appropriate questions. Number 2, relate to the other person."

"Let's try practising with this phone call, After all, well begun is half done."

"Before you begin, think about what kind of conversation you want to have, Okay?"

"Good luck Class is dismissed."
