"Juyeon," Seonghwa calls as everyone walked out of the lecture hall

"What?" Juyeon turns around

"What time do you want to call?" Seonghwa asked

"I don't know, I'm free anytime."

"Okay then," Seonghwa walks away

"So-" Juyeon was about to talk to his friends when he receives a call

Hello?

You said anytime so now is anytime

Juyeon rolls his eyes

That's not what I meant 

Well that's what you said

Urgh uh fine let's call tomorrow night 

Juyeon hangs up

At Night, Mido's house

"What do you usually do on the weekends?" Mido asked while on the call with Hanseol for the call assignment 

"Well I clean my room, I have a weekly schedule- ah hold on Hanbyeol," His voice softens 

Mido furrows, contemplating to face time instead even though it's not part of the assignment

Hanseol, Hanbyeol? Does he have a secret sister?

"Sorry about that, where was I? Ah, Sometimes I go out and drink with my friends," He said

"What about you?"

"Who's Hanbyeol?" She avoids the question 

"Huh? Oh, Hanbyeol? She's my little sister," He said 

"You have a little sister?", "I thought you knew this?"

"No actually, this is a first, I never went to your house, called you or ever mentioned our family life," Mido said

"Oh well, now you know but you're serious? We have never done those things but I hear things about you from our friends," He said

"They never talked about me? Nor you mentioned anything to them?"

"No no they do talk about you, about other stuff just that I never really ever thought of asking about that matter," She said

Silence was panning between the phones

"I uh go to art exhibitions," Mido said

"Art exhibitions?"

"Yes, that's where I would usually get my ideas from, looking at things makes my brain create ideas."

"Oh, I see."

"There's an exhibition on Wonderland tomorrow, I'm definitely going to that one, I love the weird concept of the story," She said

"...If you want, we can go with Hanbyeol? I can get to know about someone in your life?"

Sunmi takes the bus home. She slowly unlocks the door once it was unlocked, she sees her mother standing there

"Mom? Don't you have work until 7?"She asked

"That's not what I'm here for, where's the lighter?"

"It's here, I kept it near my bed for display, I decided to stop smoking for a month, If I like the feeling I'll continue to not smoke after that but if hate it I'll go back to how I was," Sunmi said 

"I'm sorry for keeping this a secret, I'm really trying for real, smoking is bad I know you think I like it. I have to brush my teeth more often but it gives me life, I hope you understand that after 1 month, it's primarily my decision to continue."

"Or stop," Her mother said

"Okay mom," Before she walks into her room her mother calls

"Remember about tomorrow, I'll be going home after that," Her mother said

Sunmi nods

Friday, KQ University 

"Hey, where's Sunmi? She never replied to any of the messages," Hongjoong asked

"Oh yeah, she's been inactive since 10, I wonder why," Juyeon said

"Wait, didn't you say that Sunmi wanted to visit someone today during your call with her yesterday?"

"Oh damn I forgot, she didn't say who though, did she ditch class for a guy," Hongjoong nudges Juyeon laughing along with Hanseol

Though Juyeon wasn't laughing. Ditched class for a guy? Seonghwa? He thought 

Mido looks at her phone 8 November

Mido suddenly stood up making the 3 guys look at her

"I have to go," She took her tray of food and threw it away

"Yah Mido!" Hongjoong shouts

"Sorry! I have to see my father in law," She runs

He shrugs "Just us 3 boys then, wanna go smoke? Sunmi said she quit isn't that sad?" Hongjoong said

"I'll pass, you know how Ms Choi gets when you walk past her?" Juyeon said

"Right...Juyeon your perfume please."

Mido drives to Sunmi's apartment

"You came pretty quickly," Sunmi said, holding onto her umbrella

Sunmi sees Mido from the side as she stands near her apartment building

"Sunmi..." She hugs the sad girl

"I'm sorry,"

They both went into Sunmi's house, her mom left back to her place

They took a seat at the kitchen table facing each other.

Mido's phone lit up, Hanseol was calling her. Sunmi sees

"Ah, you told me about the art exhibition, you should go it starts in 15 minutes," Sunmi said

"The Wonderland exhibition? We can just go tomorrow," She said

"You should've gone today, This day only comes once a year, It's not a big deal," Sunmi said

"Honestly, I still don't know how to console you despite us being friends for almost 3 years," Mido said, caressing the girl's hand

"As your friend, the only thing I can do is stay by your side."

"Every year on this day, I can't stop the rain that pours in your heart, but I can stand it in with you and shield it with an umbrella," Mido said

"That is what I should do faithfully," She said
