((your pov))

it's morning. it's been about what feels like a month of being trapped in this hell. monokuma appears on the monitor, as always.

this time was different. he had asked us to meet in the gym.

we haven't heard from or even seen monokuma to much. we've just been trying to get to know each other, and try to live a normal-ish school life. as of right now, i'm fairly aquatinted with most people here.

i've even made some friends here:

hina
sakura
leon
mondo
junko
chihiro
makoto

there was plenty of food and drinks in the kitchen, so we could eat, or make food, or grab a drink whenever we really wanted to.

we had bathrooms in our rooms too. not the biggest, but just enough to do what you need to do in there.

things weren't to bad.

at least, not yet.

everyone met in the gym at about 08.00, at least, from what the clocks on the walls say. a good four or five minutes later, the robotic bear appears at the pedestal onstage, laughing.

"hello everyone! good morning!"

we all sigh.

"what do you want you stupid bear bitch?" mondo speaks up.

"awww. that's no way to speak to your teacher."
a big, obviously fake, frown shows on monokuma's face. "anywho, i've decided to call you all here about our little, game."

oh, right.

after only a week or so, i had almost forgot why we're here.

to kill each other.

i look down at my hands, watching my thumbs fiddle with each other. this was a habit i've always done when i was in an uncomfortable situation, this being one of them.

i don't want to die here.

i don't want anyone here to die.

why are we being forced to do this?

why does this sadistic, robotic bear, enjoy watching us feeling the never ending disparity of reality? the horror, and worry, of being pitted against each other, just for the false hope of getting out of here?

as my brain kicks me off of the train of thought, i look back up to everyone around me.

they all started leaving the gym. some with worry in their eyes. some with a, very, pissed off look on them. no one was really talking. the school was filled with silence, save for monokuma, who's snickering to himself.

i leave the gym, following the others, to see where they're going.

some of them stay behind in the trophy room, or whatever it's called. some of them trying to start conversation, and failing due to the awkwardness of the situation.

i walked up to makoto, who was still making his way to a room down the hall.

the av room. one of the many places we weren't allowed to go in.

why is this open now all of a sudden?

makoto opens the door to inside. there's small tv screens on large desks. on one of the desks, the one closest to the door, had a box on it.

i look in the box and find some cds. each one had someone's name on it. makoto took one with his name, and i rummage through it and find one with my name.

i sit down at one of the desks, and put the cd in the specified slot.

the tv turns on, showing a video of some very, familiar, people, to say the least. it took me not even a second, to realize who they were.

my parents, my friends, my sister, and my older brother that went to the uk to study, as well as some of my old band mates.

and in the middle of all them,

a baby girl, playing with a teddy bear.

the baby girl, was my newborn sister, who was born only a few weeks before i left, playing with a stuffed bear, one that looked like the bear that proclaims to be our principal.

after a minute or so, the screen went blank. the monitor was still on, so it couldn't have been turned off or anything.

i look over at makoto who was also having the same problem as me. we made eye contact for a second and then looked back towards the black screens in front of us.

then as if, almost on cue, the screen wasn't blank anymore. the same screen that just showed a happy family and friends, now showed a different picture.

a more horrible, terrifying, picture.

a dark picture of my house, that was now in ruin. all the people that were there are now gone, except for the baby, who was now just laying on the ground. the sky is a dark, reddish, tint. outside i can see dark, slender, figures, just standing in the backround.

all the pictures that are hung up on walls are broken, glass everywhere, pictures ripped and bloodied.

i finally notice a note on the wall. it's small, but thankfully the screen zoomed in on it.

"dear Y/N,
thanks for leaving us behind. your sister was right about what she said about you. you're a loser. a nobody. a pathetic daughter who left your friends and family behind to die. we hope you're happy with yourself."
