Run.

Run.

Run.

All he could think about was getting away; he had no idea where he was going, but that was all he could think about. The sound of footsteps approaching from behind him terrified him to death. He felt as if his legs would fall off any moment now, but he couldn't stop. He could feel his head pounding, forcing him to waver in his steps.

BANG.

He shouted in pain as the bullet punctured his flesh; he could feel his blood soaking the torn shirt, but he continued despite the pain, only to be struck again.

He fell to the ground as his eyesight became foggy, but he knew he had to turn into his wolf if he wanted to live. He was aware that stopping to fight would be useless and a death wish.

It didn't take long for the metamorphosis to be completed. However, he was once again shot twice in the back causing him to falter and roll down the steep hill, his pained body hitting every tree, pointed rocks, and lose branches on the way down.

Having been still affected by the bullets, even in wolf form, he now realized these weren't any ordinary bullets. Though he could feel his strength waning, he was determined to keep going.

He overcame the tall gate that was in his path by jumping it. He let out a sigh after realizing he had just outrun the hunters. He struggled to walk across the alleyway on wobbly legs before falling.

He thought about his family with a sorrowful heart. Did he even have a family; he could see himself with some people, but they had no faces. He was slowly losing himself.

A whimper escaped his throat at the thought of his unknown family worrying and frantically searching for him... If they were even searching.

His body couldn't handle all this pressure, his mind racing, body pulsing like he was beaten with a steel rod. he could feel his body slowing healing which worried him as he still had some of the abnormal bullets inside of him; he could feel his body sucking all his energy so that he could be healed.

All of the adrenaline running through his veins gave him a massive headache, and his body was regenerating, which required a lot of his and his wolf's energy; he doubted he'd live, and even if he did, what would he do? He's on his own.

He peered off into the distance, hoping and praying for his safety as his eyes started to blur, and darkness engulfed him not before the faint aroma of strawberry and pine assaulted his nostrils.
