Chapter .7.

~Third P.O.V~

Once again, Jeongguk was stuck in a tense room, but this time it was even more Suffocating than the other times. It felt as if something was sucking all the oxygen from his lungs. The way the male was glancing at his Tae made his heart prickle; it felt as if something was clawing away at his chest.

"Taehyung, my son," The head alpha whispered, walking toward the male, only for him to falter in his steps when Taehyung whispered, "Do I know you?". "Taehyung, stop messing around. It's me! You know us," The pretty male stated as he walked towards the alpha, who stepped back slightly, making sure to tow his little mate with him with each step.

"Tae, it's me, Jimin, and your dad Daeyoung." the pretty male now known as Jimin stated; he started tearing up when the male didn't even budge or show any recognition towards them. "Yoongi, do something!" The male whispered.

"I'm sorry, Future Luna Jimin, but I can't because he does not recall any of us," Yoongi stated as he straightened his posture and ignored the stares he received from the Luna. "Wait, Yoongi hyung, you called him future Luna" Yoongi turned to the younger and nodded, hinting probably what he was considering was correct.

"I'm sorry, who are you?" Jimin asked, eyes boring into Jeongguk's skull cause the male was standing too close to his alpha for his liking.

"Me? I'm Jeon Jeongguk."

"Which pack are you from, and what are you; he doesn't even have a scent" Jimin stepped closer, slightly inspecting the male from head to toe with a slight snicker.

"He's human. He doesn't have a pack....yet," Yoonji answered for his friend as he took a step forward. He could sense that Jeongguk was getting anxious and uncomfortable while conversing with Jimin, but he didn't reprimand him; after all, the omega was looking at him like he had caught the worst case of disease.

"What do you mean yet?" The two males snapped their heads towards the elder omega with that one look. "I mean, he's Taehyung's-" "Yoonji, shut the fuck up," the elder twin interrupted, who shut the hell up immediately.

Yoongi wasn't in the mood for all the chaos that, that one statement could cause Hades. He could already smell the younger omega's angry pheromones and see the twitching in his eyes.

"What, what is he to Taehyung?" Jimin snapped, eyes narrowed at the poor human who shrieked back into the alpha's embrace, who was gladly to pull him in.

"Hyung, can we go?" Guk tugged at Hoseok's shirt, who was quiet the whole time, too busy in his observation mode. Seeing the younger quivering fingers, Hoseok decided it was time for them to depart.

"Uhm, excuse me. I'm Jung Hoseok," the aforementioned fellow bowed to show respect; receiving a gesture of acknowledgment he began to speak once again.

"We were only here for you to meet Taehyung as per Yoongi's request, but I believe we should take our leave now." He finished, gaze gliding over everyone noticing every move they make. He also sees a twitch of annoyance in the omega's features.

"You guys can go, but Taehyung remains." the head alpha commanded, which no one opposed except the forenamed male. "I wish not to stay, after all, I don't know you," he stated firmly, narrowing his eyes at his supposed father in a challenging manner.

"But you don't know these people." the omega snarled, not favoring this Taehyung one bit; the new Taehyung was significantly distinguishable from the old one. He should be happy for the change, but he isn't, not when it's not him.

"I know enough; if they can't stay, I will not." Jimin stared at the alpha and the people around him for a while, pondering whether or not he should let them stay.

"Fine, they can stay..."I can't, I have work, and Hobi Hyung has to oversee his bakery." Jeongguk interrupted as he looked at the omega and then up a the tall alpha.

"We will come back tomorrow," Yoongi stated, to which the head alpha agreed since he knew how tenacious Taehyung can get; some traits just can't be alleviated. "But-"

"Enough! Jimin, they will be back here at dusk tomorrow," the head alpha commanded. Jimin huffed and left the room. He was a bit bewildered about why he was acting like this, wanting to force Taehyung to stay, Taehyung was his person, and he knew this, but he couldn't help but miss the old Taehyung who would ensure that he was content and well taken care of. The Taehyung would go out of his way for him.

He knew he sounded inconsiderate and greedy right now, but he couldn't help but want it back.

"Sorry about him, he'll come around." head alpha Kim stated, a small smile decorating his lips. Never would he have thought that he would have watched his son pick strangers over him and his omega; it hurts to watch him leave his home even more.

Bowing once again, they bid goodbye to the head alpha before taking their leave. The car ride was quiet the sole sound that could be heard was the revving of the engine and their breathing. The atmosphere was uneasy, well mainly for Jeongguk. He could get the way how the other male looked at him. While Taehyung was curious, he wanted to stay, but there was no way in hell; he was going to leave his mate alone.

"Hyung, who was that boy?" Hoseok asked, shattering the deafening silence. Sighing to himself, Yoongi wasn't going to answer; he still remembered how happy Jimin looked when he mentioned to him that he had located Taehyung. Sometimes he wonders if he could make Jimin happy or if Jimin could ever come to love him if Taehyung was not in the picture. He wanted to be selfish, but he couldn't, seeing the omega lamentable does something to him, so if finding Taehyung made Jimin happy, that's what he was going to do, and that's what he did. After all, it was all that mattered to him.

Looking over at his zoned-out brother Yoonji felt sorry for him. "Well, that's a long story," he conveyed, not in the mood to talk about it; he knew how Yoongi felt about the topic, but he wanted to give the others, especially Taehyung, peace of mind. "But just so you know a bit... his parents were murdered, and Tae, you, and Hyung found him... you took care of him...." he soughed. He felt Hoseok soothingly rub his shoulders; he couldn't help but blush at the contact.

Taehyung felt Guk tense up but soothingly rubbed his thighs to calm him down; which worked effectively.

~Time skip~

They finally arrived back home, and the place was very serene, which you'd find unusual. Taehyung watched as Jeongguk lazed into the room and dropped onto the bed with a huff.

"How do you feel, Tae?" The alpha looked at him bewildered; how was he supposed to feel ecstatic, hyper, intense emotions of happiness and contentment, but he felt none, no feeling of bliss nor contentment; he felt as if the hole in his chest grew immensely when he saw them. He didn't sense that family bond or the want.

But having Jeongguk with him made him feel a bit better. And how can he ask about his feelings? When he was the one receiving the raw end of the stick.

"How did you feel about Jimin?"

Hello, guys; How are my little moons doing? Happy First of July. How was this chapter?

Sorry! I realized that I have not updated in a long time this chapter was finished and ready to be published, but I wasn't feeling it. But I couldn't wait until Friday to upload it, so I did it today lmao. Much editing wasn't done, so forgive me.

School is tiresome... Hope you guys enjoy your summer, eat a lot but stay healthy and don't get sick.
