Chapter .10.

~Third P.O.V~

Jimin was discouraged even though he knew he wasn't the one the alpha was referring to, but it felt nice to think so. At least he wasn't the only one to believe so. Jin also believed that they were mates, making him feel a bit fuzzy inside.

Jimin walked for a bit, kicking pebbles as he went along before he heard his name being hollered by the elder omega. "Min, why did you leave?" Jin inquired with a huff, a bit tired from running behind the omega.

"Was it what he said?" Jimin's eyes met the eyes of the elder omega, who looked genuinely curious. "Yeah, I know I have no right to feel like this, but... It hurts Hyung. " Tears gathered in the omega's eyes as he sniffled.

"I was and am still waiting for him, Hyung; I just love him so much, and I thought that when we finally find him... I'd hold him tight and never let him go," Jimin whimpered as he was pulled into the other's embrace, who was listening to him attentively.

"Before he disappeared, he always followed me around. His eyes were always on me and me alone."

Jin felt sympathy for the poor Omgea. He and his mate never went through any of this; not that they didn't have tough times, but it was just that they were always together, him and Namjoon against the world, Namjin against the world.

"Jimine, I don't know what you're going through, but it's going to be tough, especially now that he has found his mate, so you can try to make him fall for you, which I don't recommend."

"Don't get me wrong, I always loved seeing you guys together, but you can also move on. I'm sure there has to be someone who caught your eye." Jin finishes with a teasing smile, which causes the omega to blush a deep red.

"Noo~ hyung no one... let's go back inside," Jimin whined as he dragged a laughing Jin along with him.

~Earlier~

Taehyung sat clueless about what had just happened; why had the two taken off suddenly? "Why did you say that?" he heard Yoongi mutter. Now, he was confused and clueless; what did he do wrong?

"What did I say?" Taehyung raised an eyebrow; he was sure he didn't say anything that would offend the omegas. Yoongi sighed and shook his head. Was the alpha truly that oblivious, or did he not care?

"Do you not realize?" Yoongi uttered, which caught Taehyung's attention, who looked at him with a frown. "Realize what,"

"That-," the elder alpha was interrupted by the door opening and the two giggling omegas entering. Taehyung looked at Yoongi, whom he expected to finish his sentence, but realizing that the other wasn't planning to, he shook his head.

"Uhm, Yoongi Hyung, can I talk to you?" Jimin asked. The alpha was skeptical about the whole ordeal but nodded nonetheless, and with that, the two left.

~With Yoongi and Jimin

"Hyung, you've been avoiding me," Jimin inquired as he grasped the elder's hand, who looked away. "I wasn't avoiding you!" He deadpanned.

"I was just staying away because..."

"Taehyung arrived, Hyung. You shouldn't avoid me even if that's the reason," Jimin whined, his heart fluttering when the alpha finally looked at him.

"Look, Mochi, I can't be around, and you know why," the alpha murmured. Jimin made a weird sound and gave him a confused look. "Hyung, what are you talking about?" the omega whined again, gazing deep into the alpha's eyes as his heart thumped slightly.

Yoongi's gaze darkened at the haziness of the younger eyes. He stalked up closer to the younger "Hyung, what are you doing?" Jimin uttered, eyes wide, as he stepped back each time Yoongi took one forward until his back hit the wall. "I'm showing why I can't be around!" The alpha murmured.

Jimin let out a tiny whimper when the alpha began nosing at his skin. This was so surreal. This was what his hyung meant. The elder began to leave small kisses against Jimin's cheeks, forehead, and chin, finally leaving one at the corner of his lips.

"Jimin," Yoongi heaved a sigh, his eyes wondering over the younger's apple-colored face. "I want you, not as a friend but as a mate, my mate," the alpha uttered. "But Hyung-"

"I want you as my mate, Mochi, not Taehyung's or anyone else's, and if you can't be mine, I think I'm going to have to stay away from you and ask you to do the same," Yoongi completed as he looked away from the other, not wanting to see his hurt expression.

"Yoongi Hyung, I can't just unlove him." Yoongi winced at the omega's tone.

"I'm not asking you to unlove him, Min." The elders' eyes returned to the younger's frustrated features. "What are you asking then, Hyung?" Yoongi used his thumb to soothe the crease between the younger man's eyebrows.

"I want you to give me a chance." The alpha caressed the other's cheeks and planted a light kiss on his nose before stepping away and uttering, "Hopefully, you'll love me more; think about it," before disappearing around the corner.

Jimin felt his heart beating out of his chest and his brain pulsing. Now he was super frustrated; he was in love with Taehyung, but he didn't want to lose his hyung. Now, what is he going to do?

If he chose Taehyung, he would lose Yoongi, but if he chose Yoongi, he'd lose Taehyung, and if he didn't choose, he'd lose them both. He wonders if he could have them both. But if he had them both, no one would get hurt, and he'd have the love of his life and his heart.

Jimin smiled at the thought of not losing either and having them close. His eyes wandered over the garden to land on Taehyung, who was smiling brightly with the human, causing the omega's eyebrows to crease together.

"First, I'll have to get rid of that human."

Hello, guys. How are my little moons doing? How was this chapter? A little bit of Yoonmin... 🤡🤡🤡👽 My apologies, guys; my phone broke, and school has my panties in a bundle. I decided that I would try to start writing on my computer again. I also think I'm going to start scheduling posts so that I don't forget to update. So, what's up with you?
