~Third P.O.V~

After practically kicking the poor guy out of his house Jeongguk got ready for work. He entered the hallway and made his way to the reception desk there was no way in hell he wanted to deal with all this drama.

Now realize that working with your ex isn't ideal at all and to make matters worst the person he left you far also works here, great right? But the worst part is the fact that the person is younger than you just imagine your partner leaving you for a male or female that's younger, sucks, right.

He could already feel the pitiful looks people were giving him, and he hated it; this isn't some pity party. "Hey, you okay," the receptionist asked pitifully, "You should have taken the day off" she finished off carefully. "Why the fuck wouldn't I be okay" he snapped and glared at the baffled receptionist; he sighed when he realized that he is a little harsh so he apologized and left without a response and headed to his cabin.

Upon arriving at his cabin, he witnessed his ex-fiance and the girl making out... he was very disgusted, jealous, disappointed, and most of all relieved, relieved because he dodged a bullet. "Can you not do this here!" he stated in the softest tone he could muster up. " Oh... am sorry didn't know you'll come today" the man apologized unapologetically with an eye roll as he sent the girl out.

"Why are you here, Mr. Choi?" Gguk asked, wanting him out of his air as soon as possible. "Oh, so it's Mr. Choi now," the male chucked bitterly as he stare at the younger eyes scanning him up and down. "State your business Choi," Gguk glared feeling slightly uncomfortable under his ex's gaze, which was quite new as he loved it when the male would gaze at him like this before.

"Is it really over?" the male asked as he took a few steps towards Jeongguk, who backed away. "It is?" It was supposed to be a statement, but it came out more like a question. "I want you back, baby, think about it," "It was a mistake, and I will fix it," Jiho inquired as he left the male's cabin. Jeongguk sat on his chair thinking about his life so far...

What kind of cursed object did he take, or what kind of sin did he commit to deserve this?

With one last sigh, he began to work making sure to give his clients his undivided attention.

The day was such torture for Jeongguk; it was funny how his ex said he wanted him back but never failed to remind him why he left in the first place. He would go to the cafeteria to get lunch only to see the male seated with his baby momma at his usual spot or he would be walking in the hallway and see them making out.

Oh, he's fixing it, alright. There is no way in hell he'll be going back to that man he cursed himself for even thinking about... Jiho does not deserve him; he deserves so much better and so much more, and he knows this... but it still hurts.

Guk sighed as he walked down the silent street his stomach churning in sadness he could feel the tears prickling in his eyes, but he did now want to cry, he would rather just do it in his bed so he could sleep after, but he couldn't help the tears that fell from his eyes. In the blink of an eye, he was pinned to the wall. His eyes widened in fear because of the most sudden, but soon his heartbeat escalated when his eyes met those familiar red ones.

"Who made you cry, little mate?"

~ a Few Minutes Before~
~~~with Taehyung~~~
Taehyung was still wandering down the road after getting kicked out, his mind still a bit foggy, but he was contented, happy that he found his mate but a bit sad that his mate didn't know who he was. But he'll do everything and anything for his mate. He smiled at the mere thought of his cute little mate looking at him with those big Bambi eyes.
He continued until he smelled his mate's scent; his smile widened even more, but it slowly disappeared when he sensed his distress; the once sweet scent soon turned unpleasant. He scrunched his face up and rushed towards the smell... he saw the small figure of his mate and spun him around, and pinned him to the wall; his eyes glowing an angry red when he saw the tears in the younger's eyes.
His heart pained when he saw the younger fear, but it hurts even more; when it dawned on him, his mate was afraid of him; he took a shakey breath before asking... "Who made you cry, little mate?"
~Present~
The two looked at each other, the atmosphere quiet and tense. Jeongguk looked at the other with his starry wide Bambie eyes with unshed tears; he didn't know what came over him when he brought his palm up and caressed the male's cheeks, who just purred in the contentment of finally having his mate's touch.
"You are so handsome," Jeongguk breathed out his thumb pressing against the surprised male's soft, plump lips, he swallowed and grabbed the male's hand in his and planted a peck on his palm...
"Why are you crying, little one?" Taehyung asked again, his heart racing in his ear, thumping a little too wild for his liking. Harsh, short breaths left his lips, and suddenly, he started to feel weak.
"Tae? Are you okay?" Guk fretted as he grabbed the male's trembling figure; he gasped and swung the male's hand over his shoulder, struggling to carry the heavy male.
"W-where are you taking me?" The raven-haired male inquired.
"I'm taking you to my house to rest... Omg! you're burning up," Guk stated as he hurried to climb the stairs practically dragging the male; all the way from the alley to his bedroom. Jeongguk laid the male gently on the bed and proceeded to remove the male now soaked grey hoodie; his face began to turn a light shade of pink when his eyes began dragging over the male's well-defined torso, but he couldn't help but frown when he saw some light blue spots on his rib around to his back which wasn't there before. He couldn't help but worry.
"Hey, what are these?... Hey," he called out, only to see the male fast asleep with a pained expression written on his face. 'What happened to you' Guk thought as he unconsciously began to caress the male's face and hair, choosing not to wake him; he decided not to apply ointment to the blue spots because he did not know the cause. He laid beside him and gently rest his head on Tae's chest listening to his calm beating heart and the soft puffs of air that left his lips.
But one thing is for sure his heart was questionably beating faster than usual, and it concerned him.
