Chapter 22.2 It’s Me Who Think Too Much

Sang state was indeed as Sang Yuanyuan had imagined. There were huge green colors everywhere. It is brimming with vigour and vitality when one looks at it. This place is rich in natural silkworms. In the forest of Sang, there are sturdy men bustling around and graceful women spinning thread everywhere. It is a precious place with simple folk customs.

In such a place, spending the rest of her life peacefully and steadily, is the most ideal arrangement in her heart.

“Homesick?” You Wuming asked in a low voice.

   Sang Yuanyuan nodded.

He gently put his chin on the top of her hair and faintly said, “I’ll take you back later. Wait until I recover from the injury. Otherwise, I won’t be able to beat those two. ”

He refused to tell her where his injury was.

He was wearing a black armor of fine iron, and even Sang Yuanyuan could not figure it out either.

One of the personal guards came from a distance, and skimmed to Duan Ming’s side and presented several jade tokens to You Wuming.

At this time, the main forces had just arrived at Shangdu, the first military town on the border of You state.

You Wuming ordered to rest here. He handed Sang Yuanyuan over to a few sturdy old female servants that had cultivation to be waited upon. Then he takes the jade tokens he had just received and goes to the study room in a hurry.

She doesn’t know if it was because she was over sensitive, Sang Yuanyuan feels that he seems to be a little excited. She even had some doubts about whether the jade token was sent by one of his lovers or whatnot.

Those several old female servants were taciturn and readying a bucket of hot water. Regardless of Sang Yuanyuan’s protest, they washed her, like a piece of sliced meat, clean and wiped off the drops of water. Then they wrapped her in heavy silk cloth. They puff and blow, hum and haw, moving her to the bed in a large makeshift, cleaned up bedroom.

Sang Yuanyuan : “……” Did we not agree on not serving?

After those several old female servants left, she carefully peeled herself out of the silk cocoon. She was about to leave the bed to look for clothes when she heard a soft squeak sound, and the room’s door was being pushed aside. Two maidservants, with their head lowered and tray in their hands, hurriedly walked inside.

When they got closer, the maidservants lifted half of the tray. She saw that on the lower layer of the tray, a set of black colored clothes was hidden there.

Sang Yuanyuan’s intuition tells her that something’s wrong. Just as she was about to open her mouth, she saw the maidservant raise a pair of eyes full of hot tears.

   Aunt Ling!

   She covered her mouth.

“Shh.” Aunt Ling made a gesture, motioned to the other person by her side to help. At a quick speed, they put the clothes on Sang Yuanyuan, then carried her on the back and swept her out from the rear window.

When the cool night wind blows, Sang Yuanyuan’s mind vaguely returns.

Aunt Ling came to save her. She has been rescued by Aunt Ling!

She has successfully escaped from the side of the big villain You Wuming.

   It’s like a dream.

At this moment, Aunt Ling has taken her through a small door that has been opened deliberately and slipped out of the military town, Shangdu.

The big carriage pulled by sixteen cloud beasts had already been waiting here for a long time. Aunt Ling directly carried Sang Yuanyuan into the carriage, and the cloud beasts immediately dashed forward.

Sang Yuanyuan was placed on a long and soft cloud couch. Aunt Ling kept her lips pressed, knelt down on one knee under the couch and said, “Princess, this subordinate’s rescue came too late! Princess has endured hardships! ”

Seeing Sang Yuanyuan momentarily go blank, Aunt Ling gently stroked her hand and comforted her: “Princess doesn’t need to worry. The Lord and Crown Prince, just stationed the troops ten miles away at the back of the mountain. Fearing that You Wuming will harm Princess, hence let this subordinate bring Princess out first, and then launch a direct attack. ”

Sang Yuanyuan asked: “In Shangdu, there’s Aunt Ling’s people?”

“Yes,” Aunt Ling gently smiled, “Therefore, the Lord deliberately sent out the jade token and got You Wuming delayed here, ‘to discuss confidential matters’. ”

No wonder You Wuming just grabbed the jade token and ran away.

Will he have such a point or two in mind of wanting to perform well in front of the ‘Father-in-law’?

Sang Yuanyuan also couldn’t tell what kind of mood she was in at this moment.
