×~Darling, You're Glowing.~×

Y/n wasn't much of a morning person. If she's in a deep sleep, you let her sleep otherwise she'll be cranky all morning until she's been fed or had a shower. She doesn't mean to get snappy at people but the ones who know her know not to wake her up when she's sleeping.
There's only a few people who she won't snap at. Dani Ardor is one of them. She had slipped out of bed not long ago to make some coffee and start her day, leaving you behind to sleep some more. She was now standing near your side of the bed with a mug of coffee in her hands.

"Darling.~"

You inhale deeply before your breathing slows once more. Indicating that you were about to fall back to sleep. Dani smiled as she took the time to admire your slumbering form. You were on your stomach with the pillows under your arms, your head turned to the left so you faced the window. Your hair looked slightly wild and your back was bare. No doubt nude from the night before. Dani felt her cheeks rush with blood as she thought about the activities that inspired. She was always baffled at how much her sex life increased after she got with you.

Christian was a decent man in bed, he satisfied Dani for the first few months of their honeymoon stage. But when he started to get bored, his involvement in sex decreased. Leaving Dani frustrated, horny and sad. She was happy they broke it off before he left for Sweden. Not but four months later, she was dating you. You helped her through the separation and even gave her the space she needed when she asked for it. You were her #1 support system and she was yours.
While Dani grieved her family's death, you were there. Every late night call, you would answer whether you were asleep or not. Every spontaneous trip she'd make across states just to see you when she needed someone, or vice versa, you were always there. And you never made her feel like a burden.

Before you both started going out, you and Dani were friends for a good chunk of your highschool years. After you both graduated, Dani went her way and you went yours. But you both managed to stay in touch. Always.

And now? Now you both share an apartment, in the same city where your college was, Dani decided to drop out of her own and move closer to you. She's currently finishing her courses online.

"Sweetheart..." Dani whispered as she placed the mug down on the bedside table and sat on the edge of the bed. She reached a hand out to slide her palm along your arm that had stretched out from under the pillow. "... it's time to wake up."

You inhale sharply before turning your head from the window to look over at Dani. You had one eye opened and one closed as your face scrunched up in a squint expression. When you see Dani's beautiful face smiling back at you your grumpy mood quickly shifts as your face softens. You drop your head to the pillows and the arm Dani was rubbing moved to wrap around her waist. You hear her giggle which causes your heart to thump quickly in your chest. You loved her laughs. You loved everything about her.

"Five more minutes..."

Dani laughs softly and then shakes her head. Her body moves closer which allows you to bend your body in a weird way so you could rest your head on her thigh. Dani then takes the time to comb her fingers through your hair to untangle it while she waits for you to wake up fully.

"I'm sorry sweetheart, but we gotta get going. Our plane leaves in six hours and we still have to pack."

You shake your head slowly before pressing your face into her stomach. A few words muffled when you speak. Dani giggled again upon hearing you, she was staring down at you.

"What was that?"

You inhale her scent to get your mind working again while pushing the sleep out of it. Both of your arms wrap around her waist so you can give her a hug only to place your head on her thigh again.
