Caius Volturi

You arrived back to the castle with Felix, Demitri and Jane. You and Demitri dragging in a wild newborn vampire, your body scattered in tiny cuts and bruises. "I forget sometimes you're only partly Immortal" Felix said "I forget too" you said, you'd been so accustomed to a vampire lifestyle that your mortal side usually is only notable through injuries. You were Caius' mate but you didn't want to stop your duties as a guard member. Caius liked to wait in his study for you. 

You dropped off the rouge vampire, Felix took your place "Thank you (Y/N). Caius will be in his study" Aro said. You left the throne room "Hey Hedi" you said "Hey, I'll drain a few humans for you and Caius tonight' she said "Thank you" you replied. You walked in the room. 

Caius was pacing the room "Caius" you said, he stopped and snapped his head up "I told you missions are dangerous, look at you" he said "I'm fine" you said "You're so stubborn, you know you're part mortal. You can still bleed" he said. You sat down, a small knife came out of your pocket "I swear I didn't know that was there" you said, Caius had already picked you up, taking your straight to the bedroom. 

He sat you on the stool, he took your shirt off. "It's just a small scratch" you said "(Y/N), if it's small then why is my hand cover in a layer of your blood" he said  "Like a said to Jane, it's only one cut" you said. "You, Cara Mia, will be the death of me" he said. Demitri came in "Can I bring either if you anything?" he asked "The first aid kit, stitching equipment, and the antibiotic vial with a needle and syringe" Caius said "Yes Master" Demitri replied. 

Demitri came back with everything. Caius laid you on the bed, he held a towel over the wound, when it stopped bleeding, he cleaned it and stitched it "Stop moving" he said "You're jamming a needle into me, how can it not hurt" you growled "I know, you're not going on any duties for a while, you're banned" he said. The wound was closed and he put a dressing over it. "You think about removing them, you won't be allowed to sit on my lap for a week" he said "Okay" you replied. He gave you the dose of antibiotics. He cleaned up all the other cuts, he kissed each one. You started to tear up, "I know you too well. You try to play everything off as nothing, it's something, my love." he said "Hold me" you whimpered "I will darling" he replied. Demitri came to collect the items "If you burn those that's be good, I don't want anyone getting to over whelmed" he said "will do. Hedi will bring the blood up soon" Demitri replied. 

You moved and the stitches pulled "You need to stay still. You are on bed rest for a week" he said. Caius gently wrapped his arms around you, "you're like a giant ice pack" you said "Yours and only yours" he replied. Hedi came with the blood. You and Caius watched the sunset. 

"Is my little hybrid sleepy?" he asked "Just a little bit" you replied "You go to sleep. I'll be in the library, I'll bring you a canvas and paint to keep you occupied tomorrow" he said, kissed you softly.
