Benjamin

Everyone was at the Cullens house, staying before the face of against the Volturi. You were apart of the Egyptian Coven - Benjamin's mate. You slowly walked into the living room, you held the door frame for support, the room seemed to be spinning. You finally made you way to Benjamin, you sat on the floor in front of him laying your head in his lap, he played with your hair "(Y/N), are you feeling okay?" Edward asked, he could read you thoughts so the thought about lying was off the table "Just slightly dizzy" you replied "Is she sick?" Jasper asked "I think so" Benjamin replied "How is that possible?" Bella asked "You see, (Y/N) is part mortal, part immortal, always has been. She was fully grown at age 15, but is susceptible to human illness, her immune system isn't as strong as it aught to be" Amun replied "What diets can she have?" Carlise asked "Both, human and Vampire. She mostly lives on Vampire but occasionally will have human snacks in between" Kebi replied.

You knelt up, crawling your way into Benjamin's lap. He picked you up and sat you down. "I'm tired" you said "What to go back to bed?" He asked "no, want to stay here" you replied "okay, close your eyes, I'll keep tight hold of you" he said. Carlisle smiled a little "How old is she?" Bella asked "140 years old" Benjamin replied "Will she be well enough when the snow sticks?" Alice asked "I don't know, usually what happens is she usually weakens for a week or two then gets better" Kebi replied. "The snow will stick before then" Esme said.

The next morning, you came downstairs later than yesterday. Benjamin was waiting for you, he helped you down the rest of the stairs, he noticed blood on your lips, he wiped it with his thumb, "Ben, I was sick" you whispered "Do you want me to tell Carlisle?" He asked "Just keep it between us for now" you said "You tell me when you feel worse, promise" he said "Promise" you replied.

You and him sat down on the couch, you rested against him. Everyone began talking about how everyone with a gift was at risk of being taken. You were at risk of being destroyed by the Volturi. "They can't take us...can they?" You asked "I'm afraid they can, but we will make sure they don't" Garrett said. A few hours went by, Benjamin went on a hunt with Carlise and a few others while you rested. Esme came in "Feeling any better?" she asked "No, not a single bit" you replied "Is this a yearly thing?' she asked "Yeah, it always happens" you replied. Benjamin came back, he came in to see you "You look worse than this morning" he said "Feel it too" you replied. He laid you against him. 

Benjamin felt your entire body weight in his arms, he knew you'd passed out. Carlise came in "How she doing?" he asked "She fainted, I'm going to take her in the bathroom, can you let Amun and Kebi know?" he asked "Sure, will you need anything?" he asked "A glass of water with few drops of red food colouring, she likes it to look like blood." he replied "Okay, I'll bring it" Carlise replied. 

He carried you there, you woke up once in the bathroom, "Do you feel any better?" he asked "I feel sick, like really sick" you replied, Carlise came in with the water "I'll put some towels, few extra blankets and a bucket in the guest room, just let her rest in there after" he said "Thanks for the help" Benjamin replied "No problem" Carlisle replied. He left soon after. You shifted on to your knees, Benjamin had already tied your hair back. He sat on the opposite side, "Hold my hands" he said, you did so. You gagged "You're okay, I'm here, I'm sat right here" he said. You threw up, he rubbed circles on your knuckles, you looked up at him "Done?" he asked, you nodded "Okay" he replied, he wiped your lips sitting you on the edge of the bath, he handed you the glass, he kissed your temple. He sat with you while your drank the water. 

Benjamin picked you up and took you to bed, he laid you down on the bed and got in beside you "Love you darling" he said "Love you too. I wish this didn't happen" you said "You say that every year, I do too. But I love taking care of you. Get some sleep, I won't move" he said.
