Chapter 12: A New Deal

Darren James' POV

1 linggo na rin ang nakalipas simula nung pangyayari sa park 1 linggo na rin akong di pinapansin o kinakausap ni KC. Totoo ba talaga yung sinabi ni Eze? Mahal nga ba talaga ako ni KC? Sana hindi. Sana kasinungalingan lang yun because IT CAN'T BE. Nandito nga pala ako sa gate hinihintay ang paglabas ni KC para magsorry ulit hanggang sa mapatawad niya ako. 1 linggo ko na ito ginagawa. Wala naman ng tao gaano dahil 5:30pm na at alam kong nagpapalate na ng uwi si KC para matakasan lang ako at si Ezekiel.

"Hoy James! Hanggang kailan ka aasa na kakausapin ka ulit niya? Tandaan mo sa ating dalawa mas malaki ang kasalanan mo!" sigaw ng nakamotor na si Ezekiel habang palabas ng campus.

"Wala kang pakielam Eze kung hanggang kailan ako aasa? Ang importante ako may ginagawa para mapatawad at kausapin niya kaysa naman sayo naghihintay na magmilagro at walang ginagawa!" sagot ko naman sakanya na dahilan para ihinto niya ang kanyang motor, lumapit si Eze sa akin at iniwan ang motor niya sa may gate.

"Do you really want me to do something James?"

"What do you mean?"

"What do I mean? All I wanted to do now is to tell her all about her past and make her remember everything! Make her remember that I loved her all those days. That I am the only guy who deserve her! Not her exes and not you!"

"I know all of those things Eze.. I never said that I deserve her.. I know you can protect her, I know you will not hurt her.. But she's too important for me to risk. I will never trust any man for her, but I guess you should be exempted.."

"So, what are you saying now James? I am not even asking for your trust!"

"Enough Eze. This will be the last you will see me. Just take care of Kayla Catherine and I promise you will never see me again. Can you do that?"

"I'll do it. And you should do what you said. Is this a deal?"

"I think so. This is a new deal. So, goodbye for now my old friend." pagpapaalam ko kay Ezekiel

This is the right thing to do. Ako ang may kasalanan kung bakit nasaktan si KC. I guess a princess just need a prince in her fairytale.. And KC's prince is Eze. All I can do now is to hope that I made a right decision to end the story of the three of us..
