USS Hornet darted around the sea avoiding aerial strikes courtesy of the Sakura Empire's fifth carrier division. Two carriers named Zuikaku and Shoukaku.
Her allies were heavily damaged and it seemed left to her to deal with the enemy. Though, she was on the back foot in terms of the current assault.
Hornet: "Damn these carriers!"

Zuikaku took the opportunity while Hornet was on the back foot to try and get one decisive strike in.

Zuikaku nodded to Shoukaku and dashed forward. She was meters in front of Hornet in the blink of an eye when suddenly the sun was blotted out and the sea erupted. A scream took her attention from Hornet and to her sister as her hull was hailed with extreme firepower.
Zuikaku: "What the!?"

Zuikaku turned back to Hornet momentarily and found herself looking into a pair of bright red eyes. She jumped back a few meters as Sword of Sacrilege smirked at her.
Sword of Sacrilege: "Heya."
Zuikaku: "Who-!?"
Sword of Sacrilege: "Behind you."
Zuikaku spun around and found the gargantuan rigging of the Sword of Sacrilege behind her. It swung down its left arm, which had what appeared to be a giant chainsaw attached to it.
