Bremerton was on guard from the moment the shipgirl in front of her opened her mouth. Her smirk was a sinister glimpse of what kind of person she was. Sadistic, manipulative, pure evil. There was no denying the crushing sense of foreboding that Bremerton felt washing over her as she gazed at the amber eyes of the ship before her.

Bremerton: "L- Lex, huh? N- Nice to meet you."

Fidelitas Lex: "And you, Miss... Uhh..."

Bremerton: "Bremerton. USS Bremerton, heavy cruiser of the Eagle Union."

Fidelitas Lex: "Ah, a heavy cruiser. Very niche. I am the gloriana class flagship of the Seventeenth Legion, the Imperial Heralds."

Bremerton paused as a look of confusion marred her face. From what she knew, there was no imperial legion called the Imperial Heralds. In a moment, her rigging was deployed and she aimed her guns directly at the Imperial ship.

Bremerton: "Don't lie to me."

Fidelitas Lex simply smiled before summoning her own rigging, aiming the lance batteries directly at Bremerton.

Fidelitas Lex: "Word of advice. Ensure you can prove to be a threat before you aim your guns at a superior vessel."

???: "The same can be said of you, Traitorous filth."

Lex turned, only to have her head grabbed and slammed onto the concrete paving as Phalanx loomed over her, her stoic expression cracked by fury at the sight of the real traitor amongst the heretic ships.

Phalanx: "Bremerton. I ask that you retrieve the admiral and my sisters immediately. This one must be dealt with swiftly."

Bremerton was rooted to the spot for a few moments before nodding and turning to leave. However she was stopped by Belfast and Manchester, who had heard the commotion and arrived with Sheffield and Edinburgh in tow.

Belfast: "Miss Phalanx. Can this not be handled in a more... courteous manner?"

Phalanx: "No."

Belfast sighed before approaching the two and reaching down to take Phalanx' hand away from Lex's head. However Phalanx' rigging deployed and pushed the maid back.

Phalanx: "Maid Belfast. I do not require you to involve yourself with the affairs of the imperium. My sister will be dealt with by our laws. Not the laws of your tiny island."

Manchester: "Oi! Our tiny island conquered half the world!"

Phalanx: "Our imperium conquered this, and a million other planets."

Manchester: "... Shit."

Belfast: "Manchester. Watch your language please. It is hardly befitting a member of the royal maid corps."
