It didn't take her long to get back. Reaching her little guildhouse on the fifth floor, she quickly head in with the intention to bolt to her room.

As she zoomed through the main room, she barely took notice of the rest of her guildmates. Admittedly, they did the same. Only one of them gave her more than a passing look - Her alleged leader.

He glared at her, which she returned in kind. I don't care what you think, she thought spitefully. Just like you never cared about anything except your ego.

"Where have you been, Mako?" he asked her in an unconcerned voice.

"None of your business," she replied in an apathetic tone. She couldn't be bothered to deal with him.

Once she made it to her room, she threw herself on her bed and let out a big sigh.

"I'm a terrible person," she mused. "You would hate me, wouldn't you?"

There was nobody else in the room, but she was pretending that she was talking to her friend who had died over a year ago.

It was difficult to pretend that her guild cared much for each other. In the real world, they were barely more than schoolmates... and the distance only got worse after the only friend she truly cared for died while trying to live up to their leader's unreasonable expectations.

"No, I did the right thing," she rationalized. "I was able to send help to those people..."

Still, it didn't change the fact that she had sent people to possibly get themselves killed... Even if she couldn't stand some of them!

Suddenly, she heard a notification sound. She shot up as she opened her menu, quickly going to the message.

[The Black Swordsman didn't arrive and none of his friends were killed]

She couldn't help but grin, glad that this madman's goal wasn't fulfilled.

[I'll leave them alone for now. But know that you can't escape me]

That was the end of the messages. Laying back down, she let out another deep breath.

"They're needed..." she justified. "Right now, they're the ones with the power..."

Still, when she thought of them, she couldn't help but scowl.

"One day, I'll avenge you," she said aloud. "One day I'll make them pay, Yukiho..."

And that's my attempt at a post-credits scene. Imagine this playing after the closing theme. I'm not entirely sure how to write that in book format. I do not consider this a separate chapter from the Laughing Coffin chapter.

I considered not mentioning the girl's name, but then I figured it's best to leave hints of what could have been in case I don't finish this story... or go on hiatus again. I hope readers catch the reference ;)
