Reaching the gate of the Ruins, you push the stone doors with all your weight, finally slipping through. The frigid air hits you, Flowey quickly slinking his way out of the pot into the hood of your coat for protection from the cold. You sigh, setting the pot near the stone doors.
Guess you won't be needing that, it's too cold to leave him in that. Better to keep him with you in your coat.
Not too far ahead through the snow, you see Papyrus, his signature red scarf flowing behind him as he runs towards you.
"FRIEND!" He screams with glee, picking you up by surprise.
"Woah! Papyrus, it's nice to see you too!" You laugh as he spins you around before setting you down gently.
"OH! IS THAT WHO I THINK IT IS?" He asks, pointing at Flower glaring at him from your hood.
"I'm here to keep Butt here safe, since you're too nice to kill a fly."
"You know Flowey? Also, Butt?" You ask Papyrus.
Papyrus laughs loudly, "WHY OF COURSE! I'M FRIENDS WITH EVERYONE IN THE UNDERGROUND!"
You smile, "How could I forget? Who wouldn't wanna be friends with a softie like you!"
You lightly shove Papyrus, laughing.
Papyrus laughs, shoving you back with surprising strength, launching you into the snow as you skid and bump into a tree.
"OH MY GOODNESS HUMAN- BUTTERCUP! I'M SO SORRY, I DIDN'T MEAN TO PUSH YOU SO HARD!" Papyrus exclaims, quickly running up to you and placing you on your feet - wiping all the snow off you.
"It's ok! It didn't really hurt, the snow and my thick clothes cushioned me. So, it's just past that bridge right?"
Papyrus looks at the bridge, then back to you, "WHY YES! I BUILT THAT BRIDGE MYSELF!"
"Wow Papyrus, you're really crafty! I wish I could build a bridge, I bet you didn't even break a sweat since you're so strong."
"E-EH? Y-YES! I AM THE STRONGEST IN THE UNDERGROUND OF COURSE! WELL, OTHER THAN UNDYNE!"
As you passed the bridge together, and passing over some twigs from the trees, you looked at him questioningly.
"Undyne? Who's Undyne?"
"THE LEADER OF THE ROYAL GUARD, MY BOSS! SHE'S SUPER STRONG, AND EVEN GIVES ME LESSONS ON COOKING!"
You nod, looking up from your footprints in the snow to see a small town cradles by pine trees and vibrant electric stringed lights.
"Oh my gosh, is this Snowdin? It's beautiful! I love the lights!" You exclaimed, turning to look at all the buildings and homes.
"YES! I LIVE HERE WITH MY BROTHER!" He responds, pointing to a cute wooden house with two mailboxes, one full and exploding with letters.
"Ah, that must be your brother's mailbox." You laugh, pointing to the mailbox.
"ARG! I KEEP TELLING HIM TO CHECK HIS MAIL! WHAT HAPPENS IF IT'S IMPORTANT? IT'S ALSO LITTERING SNOWDIN!"
"Yeah, we can't exactly do it for him. It'd be invading his privacy." Papyrus nods at your statement.
"UNFORTUNATELY. OH! WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE MY HOUSE?"
"Of course!" You clasp your hands together, excited.
"Good, it's cold out here." Flowey responded, muffled by your hood.
Papyrus leads you to the door, taking out his key and unlocking the door, swinging it open.
"AFTER YOU!" He states, holding the door for you.
