Opening your eyes, you realize you've fallen asleep. The screen fills the living room with a bright blue, since the tape reached its end probably a long time ago. Feeling a weight on your shoulders, you see Papyrus has both you and Sans under each arm. You smile, very carefully removing his arm from you and re-adjusting the rest of the blanket onto both of them. It still seems pretty early in the morning, as you check the clock on the stove in the kitchen reading 8:00 AM.

Maybe you should cook them something, since they were so kind to you during your stay after all. Staying light on your feet, your fuzzy socks helping dampen your steps, you make your way into the kitchen. Opening the fridge you see eggs, milk, and other general groceries that you've seen it Toriel's fridge too.

The only odd thing is where the fruit drawer would be, is full of ketchup bottles. Guess they use a lot of it here?

Noticing they have lots of eggs, the first recipe that comes to your mind is the omelet recipe from Toriel's cookbook. Grabbing some of the cheese, eggs, milk, bell peppers, ham, and butter you get started. Putting some butter in a pan, you let it start to heat up on the stove while you whisk the egg and milk mixture in a bowl until smooth. Setting that aside, you clean the bell peppers, removing the seeds and stem of each before cutting them into small pieces. After that, you cut the ham into similarly sized pieces, setting these into a bowl on the side with the bell pepper pieces mixed in.

Grabbing your egg mixture, you carefully pour it into the pan. Once it becomes solid enough, you place the cheese and toppings onto one side, ready with your spatula to fold over the omelet.

Carefully sliding your spatula under the side without the filling, you go to fold it over.

"WOWIE! YOU-"

Turning quickly to see Papyrus towering over you, out of shock your hand slips hitting the hot pan, although luckily getting a good fold on the omelet.

"Ouch!" You gripe, dropping the spatula as it clangs loudly against the tile floor.

"OH MY! I DID NOT MEAN TO STARTLE YOU, ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!" Papyrus said, grabbing your hand quickly to inspect the injury.

It's not too bad of a burn but it definitely hurts.

"It's ok Pap! I didn't know you were there, how long have you been behind me? I can't believe I didn't notice you standing over me!"

"ONCE YOU STARTED PULLING OUT THE COOKWARE. I HAVE BEEN HERE SINCE THEN! IT'S FUN TO WATCH YOU COOK... BUT NOT GET HURT. MY APOLOGIES." He states with concern.

"I'LL GO GET THE FIRST AID KIT!" He quickly adds, running off to the bathroom.

You laugh a little, grabbing the spatula off the ground, cleaning it in the sink before flipping the omelet again.

It's slightly burnt on one side but this one can be yours.

"I HAVE RETURNED! WITH MEDICAL EQUIPMENT!" He announces, quickly grabbing your spatula from your hand and placing it on the spoon rest.

Holding your hand carefully, he applies a soothing ointment and wraps it a bandage, tying it off cleanly.

"Wow you're really good at this!" You respond, checking out his work on your hand.

"THANK YOU! APPARENTLY I CAN IMPROVE IN COOKING THOUGH. MAY I GIVE ONE OF THESE A TRY?" He asks excitedly, pointing to the pan behind you.

"Eating it or... making one?" You ask.

"MAKING ONE! OH, YOU DON'T HAVE AN APRON, YOU HAVEN'T GOTTEN ANYTHING ON YOU - HAVE YOU?" He asks quickly, opening the cupboard to grab a blue folded apron and an orange one much larger.
