"Wow, the castle is really spacious!" You said, arriving at a staircase that leads to the second floor.
"The bedrooms are up here, let me take your suitcases for you two!" Asgore said, easily lifting your suitcase on his shoulder.
As he reached for Toriel's, she quickly threw hers over her shoulder and made her way up the stairs, smirking.
Asgore let out a hearty laugh, "Why am I not surprised?"
You followed them up, watching as Asgore opened up double doors to a room at the end up the hall upstairs to... your room?
It was already decorated, and looked recently cleaned.
"You can redecorate if you'd like, just let me know what you're looking for and I'll be happy to help!" Asgore said, looking around the room.
"...no it's ok. I actually don't mind yellow. This already feels very comfortable." You said, dragging your hand across the finely quilted blanket.
"Did Toriel make this?" You asked.
Asgore nodded, "Yes. I'm unsure if you've heard yet, but we had two kids before you came into our lives. This was my son's bedroom."
You inspected the details of flowers embroidered into the quilt, "It's very lovely."
"Indeed it is! I'm happy it won't be gathering dust anymore." Asgore said, pushing the suitcase over to the walk-in closet.
"Wow, I knew I'd be living in a castle, but a walk in closet!" You gawked.
"One of many surprises for the day," Toriel adds, walking into the room.
In her hands is... a pillow with a cloth over it? You approach, slowly taking off the cloth.
"Wait, is this mine?" You ask, looking at the crown sitting on the pillow.
"It's been sitting in our closet long enough... and of course it is!" Toriel laughs, putting the crown on your head carefully.
It fit quite well, oddly enough.
"Feels... weird." You laugh nervously.
"It takes some getting used to, and don't feel like you have to wear it all the time. Asgore and I don't wear them all the time, after all." Toriel says.
You nod, "Should we wear them at the dinner tonight?"
They look at each other before looking to you and nodding, "It's like a celebration!" Asgore adds enthusiastically.
You look at the time on your phone, "Ah, we have a couple hours. I guess I should unpack! Oh shoot... I don't have any nice clothes to wear..."
"I already took care of that dear. Had Muffet spin you up some royal garbs and formal clothes. I was hoping to surprise you with them when you walked into your closet, actually," Toriel laughed, "They're hanging in there."
You looked into the closet to see rows of elegant clothes.
"Woah, how'd she get them all done in time? Was it magic?"
"Not at all dear, she's very skilled! That, and she has four arms," Toriel laughed.
You nodded, "Well, I better get unpacking!"
Having packed all your goodies away and put your framed photo of Toriel and you out, you checked the time on your phone again.
You only had ten minutes until you were supposed to be down for dinner!
Scrambling you enter the closet, quickly scanning for something nice to wear before grabbing it and quickly putting it on. Fixing your hair you carefully put the crown on and some nice shoes before briskly walking out of the bedroom and down the stairs.
