Manik's pov
Nandini came in early today because she couldn't sleep and I so glad I decided to come in early to work on this one presentation because now I can keep her company.
"I can't sleep" she said making me look up from my laptop
"Why not" I asked
"I don't even know, and jeez it's freezing in here" she said
"Are you sure you are okay" I asked seeing her a little pale
"Yes sir, I just walked na so maybe that's why"
"Nandini it's not too cold or even slightly cold outside"
"I don't know" she said
"You are 3 hours early what are you gonna do" I asked
"Annoy you" she said making me smile
"Come sit and help me with this presentation" I said and she nodded
She pulled a chair beside me and was looking at the presentation.
"Did you eat" I asked and she shook her head
"Not hungry" she said
"What is the most important meal of the day nandini" ia asked
"Breakfast, why?" She asked
"Exactly"
"Im just irritated, and not hungry" she said
I know she is very irritated because I could tell just by looking at her
"Do me a favour" I said and she looked at me
"Close your eyes and tell me about the club that we are all going to"
"But why close my eyes"
"Nandini" I warned and she pouted but closed her eyes
"We will go to any club that arun wants, you know he was so saad last night. I felt so bad and I didn't even know what to say to him. Thats why I offered to go to the club with him so he can meet new people. I mean the only people you meet in the club is people you wanna hook up with but thats not nice na. I want him to meet people he would like and can talk to. Also manik can you send someone else to LA with the new recruits and other people, I just don't want him to see his ex girlfriend again" she asked opening her eyes
"Of course" I said and she nodded
"Come here" I said and she lifted her hands up asking me to pull her chair
I pulled her chair so she was right next to me
"Now close your eyes and talk to me" I said
"But why"
"Because I want you to"
"But why close my eyes"
"Sweetheart why are you so stubborn?" I asked and she giggled
"I was made this way" she said making me smile
She pulled on my arm putting her head behind on her chair
"Now close your eyes please" I said and she did
"You know, yesterday night I forgot to brush and it was so bad. Not that my breath stunk but like if a hot boy wanted to come kiss me like ohh you know from that princess movie na yes but unfortunately that did not happen" she said sadly making me chuckle silently while working with one hadn't because she was holding my other arm
"I was also thinking about something, can I tell you?" She asked
"Yes tell me" I said
"I know this is stupid but I'm still a little scared of harshad and Disha. I know I know that I haven't told you anything about my past but it just scares me to think that they are back"
