We drove home which lasts less than 10 minutes but the whole time she was thinking. We got home and she went in her apartment while I walked to mine to change

I heard the door bell when I was putting on a t shirt. I rushed to the door and it was nandini. My eyes were stuck o her, she was wearing this beautiful dress which was short but not short enough to see up her dress. It looked so beautiful on her

"Chalo na" she said causing me look at her eyes

"You look so elegantly beautiful" I said and her cheeks tinted red

"Thank you' she mummbled

"Let me grab my keys and wallet" she nodded wandering to the living room

I grabbed my stuff and came out to see her sit-in on the couch

"Lets go sweetheart"

She got up and walked to me

"You look handsome" she said holding my arm

"Thank you" I mummbled as we walked to the elevator

"Manik nooo, I don't wanna go in that" she said

"Why not"

"I don't like elevators, they make me feel suffocated, umm you go, ill see you downstairs" she siad walking away but I pulled her back slightly holding her hand

"We will take the stairs okay" i said and she nodded

"Thank you" she mumbled and I smiled in response

We got to the club and as soon as nandini saw navya she let go of my arm and ran to her hugging her. I sat next to cabir while the girls were giggling about who knows what

"Where is arun" I asked and cabir pointed to the dance floor where arun was dancing with a girl

"And here we thought he is sad" I said making cabir laugh

"So what's cooking" he said and I knew what he was talking about

"What do you mean" I asked hoping he lets go but then again he is cabir

"Oh don't play dumb with me. Nandini and you" he siad

"What about us? We are still fake dating" I siad and he smacked my arm

"Dude there is absolutely nothing about you two that screams fake.  It seems like a couple who have been together forever and love practically drips from you for her. You cannot deny that" he said and I sighed

"Im trying cabir, I'm trying so hard to pull off the fake dating shit but it definitely isn't working. She told me that it feels natural to be with me and I fucking wanna tell her I love her, I have for a long long time but I can't betray her like this. I don't want her to think that I said yes to dating her because I have feelings for her"

"Well you damn well did say yes because of that" he said

"Cabir will she ever fall in love with me" I asked looking at nandini who was jumping around with navya

"Id be lying if I said she wasn't in love with you" he said causing a smile to form on my lips

"She is" I asked

"Manik she may not say it, she may not express it but she is in love with you. the things that occurred in her past stops her from telling you she has feelings for you. Now don't come and ask me what her past is because it's not my place to tell" he said

"Is it because of harshad and disha" I asked and he nodded

"don't let go of her" he said

"I won't, I called her mrs Malhotra the other day in a conversation and the look on her face" I said and he looked shocked
