Gilrin's POV

So a lot has happened in the last four years. We live by Hells Gate. Neytiri and Jake have had two sons so far. Neteyam and baby Lo'ak. I had my eighteenth birthday and became a true na'vi. Leaving my human body behind forever. It was buried beside my uncle's old human body.

Orodon and I mated for life and now I am pregnant with our first baby. I think it's a boy, but we won't know until he r she is born. If it's a boy we'll be naming him Tsu'tey in honour of Orodon's later older brother. If it's a girl, Grace.

Anyway I stopped hunting when I became pregnant. I now have a small herd of pa'li that I take care of. I also train new riders. Orodon still hunts though and trains the new warriors. Though we have had no reason to fight anyone. We have lived in peace for the last four years.

"You should be taking it easy" Orodon tells me as he finds me washing Anita.

"I'm fine Orodon" I assure him. "Besides others have continued to hunt until they gave birth" I state.

"I know, but I just worry" he tells me.

"Once I'm done grooming Anita, I'll make sure all the Pa'li have fresh water and food. Before returning home" I tell him.

"I'll help and you'll be done quicker" he tells me.

"Ok, but I want to check on Velma too. She is pregnant after all" I state. He nods his head and we finish grooming Anita. We escort her back to her stable and give her dinner. And fresh water. We do the same with the other pa'li leaving Velma for last.

"She is looking good, I say she should give birth in about three months" Orodon states as he exams her pregnant stomach. He pulls his hand with a chuckle. "She has one strong foal" he states.

"Orodon, I've been curious about something and kept forgetting to ask anyone. But do the animals here mate for life also?" I ask him curious.

"Yes, even the ones in herds mate for life. Though males do fight for the right to mate with the females. And there's always a dominate pair" he explains. I nod my head in understanding. We finish and start to walk back.

"How was the training today?" I ask him curious.

"It went well, but this group has terrible aim with a bow" he states.

"With you teaching them, I'm sure they'll improve in no time" I tell him.

"I know, but hitting the target while standing on the ground is one thing. They need to master hitting a moving target and shooting from horse back" he reminds me.

"Then from Ikran once they find their own" I add. He nods his head as we joined the tribe around the camp fire. He went to get us some food while I greeted my aunt and uncle. Along with my little cousins. "He gets bigger everyday" I coo as I hold Lo'ak.

"He does, in fact he rolled over for the first time today" Aunt Neytiri tells me.

"And Neteyam now goes to school" Uncle Jake adds.

"They are growing up to fast" I tell them and they nod their heads in agreement.

"Won't be long now until you give birth" Aunt Neytiri tells me.

"I know, I can't wait to meet him or her" I tell her. As Orodon appears with our food. "Thank you" I say and kiss his cheek. We eat in silence. Until Uncle Jake and Orodon started to discuss patrol teams and routes. I feel another cramp in my back and rub it.

"Are you ok Gilrin?" Aunt Neytiri asks me concerned. I go by Gilrin all the time now. Crystal Sully died with my human body.

"I've been getting pains in my back all afternoon" I tell her.

"May I?" she asks gesturing to my stomach and I nod my head. She feels it and smiles. "You're going to become a mum today" she states.

"What?" Uncle Jake, Orodon and I say together.

"Your baby is ready to be born, your water need only break" she states. I smile at Orodon and he hugs me tight. "Lets get you to the birthing hut, something tells me you're in for a long night" she tells me.

"Orodon, can you..." I start to ask.

"You know I can't" he tells me gently. "It's not our way, the birth of baby is a woman affair. Only women may be present for the birth of the baby. But I'll be there as soon as I here our baby's cries" he assures me.

"I couldn't be there for my sons births either" Uncle Jake reminds me.

"Don't worry, my mother and I will be right by your side" Aunt Neytiri assures me.

"I'll go get her" Uncle Jake states before leaving. Orodon and Aunt Neytiri walk me to the birthing hut. My water broke as we entered. Orodon kisses me, wishing me good luck and promising to return soon. Aunt Neytiri and a midwife lead me to a bed.

Mo'at arrives as the midwife checks how far along I am. Apparently I was only six centimetres. So we waited and they ask if I had chosen names yet. "Yes, but I won't tell you. Not until the baby is born, if I become unconscious though. Orodon will tell you the baby's name" I tell them. They nod their heads in understanding.

(Time skip)

Grace finally arrived around midnight. "She's perfect, thank you my love" Orodon tells me as he cradles our daughter. She'd been cleaned up and had her first fed.

"No, thank you Orodon" I tell him with a smile. There's a knock on the door. I look up to see Uncle Jake with his family and Mo'at.

"May we come in?" he asks and I nod my head. As Orodon hands me our daughter. Sitting beside me on the bed, wrapping an arm around my waist.

"Everyone, meet our daughter Grace" Orodon says proudly.

"She's beautiful" Neytiri states.

"Like her mother" Mo'at adds.

"May I hold my great niece?" Uncle Jake asks. I nod my head and hands her to him. "She's gorgeous Gilrin, your dad would be mighty proud of the woman you've become" he tells me.

"I wish he was here" I tell him.

"He is, in here" he says pointing to my heart. I smile. Mo'at and Aunt Neytiri each hold baby Grace. Even Neteyam held her while sitting on a chair. We were allowed to go home. So Orodon and I took our daughter home. We lived happily ever after.
