Crystal's POV
I linked in early as I know Tsu'tey gets up early and will no doubt wake Orodon early. I wake up in my hammock and get out of it. I go down and grab a bite to ate. Before going to the top of home tree, where the Ikran live. I arrive to see Tsu'tey with Ava and his Ikran. Azure I think is his name.
"I see you, where is Orodon?" I ask him confused.
"I see you. On a hunting trip, I wanted to talk to you alone" he states.
"Should I be concerned?" I ask as I give Ava a pat.
"If you have nothing to hide, no" he tells me and mounts his ikran linking with him. I do the same with Ava. "Follow me" he says and takes off. I have Ava follow him. He leads me to the Tree of Voices. We land and un-link with our ikran, letting them go hunt.
"What is it you wish to talk about?" I ask him curious.
"Orodon has told me a lot about you" he states as he brushes the tendrils. "But he says you have hardly spoken of your parents. I know Jakesully is your uncle. But where are your parents?" he asks me.
"I do not like to talk about them" I tell him. "My mother died giving birth to me, I never knew her personally. But everyone says I look like her and have her personality" I state.
"And your father?" he asks me.
"What about your parents? Orodon does not talk about them" I state trying to get the subject off of me.
"Our father died when we were young, I helped raise Orodon. Our fell into despair after losing her mate. Once Orodon became a young hunter, she died. I've looked after him ever since" he explains. "Now tell me of your father" he states.
"I had turned seven and found out I could come here with my dad to live. That I'd have my own avatar. I was at school, it was my second to last day. As we were leaving on Saturday. When two men appeared and took me to warehouse.
Where I meet Uncle Jake for the first time in my life. He looked just like my dad, it was like looking into a mirror almost. Until I looked into his eyes. We greeted each other and I asked about where my dad was. Uncle Jake told me he was murdered and he was offered to take my father's place to come to Pandora with me.
Now you know. Both my parents are dead and Uncle Jake is my last living relative. I never thought I'd find love here, but I have with Orodon. I want my human body to die, so that I can live with her as a true Na'vi. But that will never happen, I'll always have two lives" I tell him sadly.
"Maybe not" he says as he looks at the tendrils in deep thought.
"What do you mean?" I ask him confused.
"Would you die for my brother?" he asks me.
"In a heart beat" I tell him honestly as he looks into my eyes.
"Then there maybe a way, but I will have to speak to Tsahik about this" he tells me.
"Really?" I ask excited.
"I am not positive, so do not get your hopes up. For now let me demonstrate aerial hunting" he tells me and calls Azure. I call Ava and we mount them before taking to the skies. He demonstrates how to aim from Azure and I copy on Ava. "Very good" he praises me. "I've set up some targets follow me" he says and flies towards the floating mountains.
I follow and we arrive ten minutes later. He demonstrates shooting the targets first. Before letting me have ago. It took about a couple of hours, but I soon hit every target dead centre. We fly back to Home Tree and are greeted by Orodon. I hug him tightly smiling. "I see you" I tell him.
"I see you" he repeats and kisses my cheek.
"You two go have fun, but not to much fun" Tsu'tey tells us. Making us both blush. Before leaving us alone.
"How did it go?" Orodon asks me curious.
"Take awhile, but I hit every target dead centre" I tell him proudly.
"That's my huntress" he says with a smile. "What do you want to do this afternoon? Hike, swim, ride or fly?" he asks me. As we head down to lunch.
"A hike and swim sounds lovely" I tell him.
"Hike to the falls and we can swim" he says smiling. I nod my head in agreement. We sit by Neytiri and Uncle Jake.
"Tsu'tey says your a natural on Ava" Neytiri says with a smile.
"Thank you" I say. "How did my uncle do?" I ask her.
"Also a natural, you both will join the next aerial hunt next week" she tells me. I smile happily and ate my lunch. Then Orodon and I leave for our hike.
We arrive at waterfall half an hour later. We strip behind different bushes. Then go for a swim. I avoid looking at his privates. Even thought we're courting, it still feels inappropriate. We swim until we start to prune up. We got out and got dressed. Before laying on the ground looking up at the sky. Making shapes while looking at the clouds. We saw a heart, a viperwolf, a tree and etc.
Before we hiked back to Home Tree for dinner. Where Mo'at asked to talk to me privately. She leads me away from the tribe. "Tsu'tey told me about your conversation, do you truly wish to leave your human body behind?" she asks me.
"There are times I wish I never had to return to it. But I know it's impossible" I tell her sadly.
"Not for Ewya" she tells me with a gentle smile. "We'd have to go to our most secrete of places to perform a ritual. It'd save all that you are into this body" she explains gesturing to my avatar body. "But it would be dangerous, you'd have to pass through the eye of Ewya and return" she tells me.
"So I'd die" I say frowning.
"Yes, and you'd come back to life in this body. Your over would die, you'd never have to go back to it" she tells me.
"I don't know, has it ever been done before?" I ask her worried.
"Yes and no, we have done it occasionally to save a part of someone into another's body. To keep their wisdom alive, which has been successful. But we have never done it with a human and their Na'vi body" she states.
"Can I think about it?" I ask her.
"Of course, besides I would not recommend doing it until you are an adult in both bodies. It'll give you a better chance of it working" she tells me. I nod my head and we return to the tribe. I sit by Orodon and start to ate. In deep thought about what I had just heard.
Could I do it? Can I really live my human life behind for good? Give up my human life for a life with Orodon? Let my human body die? What would my uncle say? I have to think this through carefully and not make a rush decision.
